Fabulous experience for my husband's birthday!! One of our favorites, Waters never disappoints.
Valentine’s Day Dinner was Amazing!
The Dirty Dozen was Delicious!!!
Hopefully it was just a fluke, but across the board the food was not that great. We have been there several times prior and it was great, but I think the kitchen staff was off their game due to the crowd at Valentine's Day weekend.
This has turned into our new favorite downtown Fort Worth spot. Incredible wine list and excellent chef at the head of it all who was once at Del Frisco's. They had four Valentine's Day weekend specials. Definitely chose from one of these and did not disappoint! We will be coming back here many times in the future!
Wonderful service and food!
Crab was a little over done. Service was fantastic.
The restaurant reminded me of dining in New Orleans and it's in Fort Worth. Fantastic!
Great service. Great food!
Had a reservation for 815. Made the reservation a month prior when there were numerous other times available. We needed a later time because of a wine tasting prior to dinner. Weren’t seated until 835. Once seated we had a table sandwiched between the hostess stand and the kitchen. Numerous employees running around muttering F bombs under their breath. I get it’s a very busy night but they clearly overbooked and made no attempt to hide it. Food was very good. Service was average. Seemed more interested in shuffling us out by that time. Won’t be returning.
Loved the dirty dozen oysters!!!
Waters never disappoints!! It’s our go to place for special occasions or anytime we want dinner before Scatt Jazz Lounge. Even with it being Valentines Day and number of people they made us feel like we were the most important table there. Elaine is an incredible server and never lets us down.
Everything from heirloom tomato & goat cheese salad , ribeyes and brownie for dessert.. Delicious!! Will definitely be back!
Waitress was great and the general manager came by to greet us and check in. Food was really good and the old fashion was the best.
Our first time there I brought my husband for Valentine’s Day and boy was it a treat you guys are awesome.
We had a wonderful dining experience for Valentine's Day.
Kelly was phenomenal, we enjoyed the experience and great food.
The value for the food is not adequate. The so called 10 pound lobster tail was minimal and tough for $50. The Salmon that I ordered was not salmon at all. I was served Arctic Char. The portion size was very small and was not seasoned well at all. The lobster in the lobster Mac n cheese was scarce at best! Bread was good and the oyster mushrooms was good but this place is not worth a second visit. Free valet is nice but all in all you are paying for location. The decor in the restaurant was nothing to write home about.
Paul was very attentive and made our Valentine’s Day the best ever. Food was incredible! Everything we ordered was delicious.
The chicken breast was so tough my could not cut it. I had the red snapper special, so so at best. After we paid check when somewhere else to get something to eat. Salads were good.
Valentine’s Day lunch
Kelly provided outstanding service and the food was delicious. We love oysters and Waters is the only restaurant where we will eat them.
Best dining experience in years! We will definitely go again.
The food was spectacular but we could never seem to find our server.
We really enjoyed our evening. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is that everything seemed a tad too salty. It was still delicious but too much salt. Would definitely go again.
Paul is a terrific server. Very friendly and attentive.
We eat there every time we are in Fort Worth.
One weekend, we ate there twice.
The Duck Confit & Shrimp Pasta was delicious.
The steamed Crab Legs were perfect.
Had an awesome night for her birthday
We come to Fort Worth twice a year on business and always end up at Waters. We dine all over the US at some really nice restaurants and this is one of my top 5 anywhere. Amazing staff, beautiful bar and dining area and great food. It is a true winner.
Perhaps we ordered the wrong things, but the crab with avocado on arugula was tiny, and the fish from the fish and chips were okay, but the chips didn't taste of potato at all. They could learn something from a good Irish chipper.
Crab cakes are AMAZING! The whole dinning experience was great. Friendly staff.
Everything we ordered was excellent. A little pricey.
Waters has a great rotating selection of the best east coast cold water oysters. Bonnell's gumbo is a refined version loaded with shrimp, crawfish, fish, and the best andoulle ever.
Wow. Every course was spectacular. This is a can’t miss experience. From appetizers to Desert, the best meal I have had in years. I will be back!
Always a great dining experience at Waters. Delicious food, wonderful service, and quiet enough to have a nice conversation with those at the table. Love this place!
What a GREAT place! Went for lunch this time and it didn’t disappoint! Even at its most busiest times, dinners, the service is always dependable.
Will definitely be going back for both dinner and lunch!
3rd time back in 6 weeks. Great bar service. We had appetizers and drinks. Texafellers are the best and so is the calamari.
Surprisingly good seafood in north central Texas. I would recommend Waters Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal, good wine list and friendly attentive service while in the Ft Worth area. This will one will go on my "return for another visit" list.
Steak and crab were amazing
Waters is always better than expected. Great for conversation. The Seafood Tower is a blast. Parking with Valet makes for super easy in and out.
We didn’t know what to expect when we made reservations. From the moment we walked in the door we knew that we made the right choice. We were immediately welcomed by staff. They welcomed us with smiles and led us to our table. It was a wonderful table. The menu was eloquently explained to us is perfect detail but simple enough that it made things easy for us to decide on. Our waiter was perfect. Everything from the fresh baked bread to the desert at the end was a delight. The food came out hot and cooked to perfection. We started out with a salad and sweet potato soup. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my wife ordered the red fish. Both were fantastic. We ordered a cream brûlée and tiramisu for desert. Again, both were just fantastic. The portion sizes were exactly right. All in all I would have to give our experience 4.9 stars. The only thing I could have had better would have been a slightly quieter dining experience. Everything else was great.
