At Waters Restaurant – Sundance Square, we source the freshest wild, seasonal, and sustainable seafood available. Our style brings together flavors of the southwest, with hints of Louisiana, but our featured ingredients themselves typically speak the loudest. Our Signature Gumbo hastens back to some Creole roots when Jon Bonnell cooked in the French Quarter of New Orleans, while our beef gets the royal treatment Chef Felli has made famous for much of his career. Diver scallops from Maine get a slight TexMex makeover after being perfectly golden-crust-seared, while jumbo lump crabcakes celebrate beautifully fresh crab as their essence, never loaded with fillers just to save a buck. We will never utilize third-world fish farms, cheap seafood substitutes, artificial flavorings, or exploit threatened species at Waters.     We had an absolutely amazing experience at Waters on Saturday. The food surpassed our expectations with its delectable flavors, while the ambiance created a terrific atmosphere for an unforgettable evening. The service provided by Andrew, our server, was truly exceptional. His professionalism and extensive knowledge enhanced our dining experience, making it truly delightful.     Drew our server and Ryan the GM were excellent. The oyster flight fresh and tuna tartare delicious. The most disappointing was the 8 oz filet. It was overly salted to the point of not being edible. Although it was cooked perfectly to rare/medium rare. We'll probably try it out again in the future.

    Absolutely outstanding from the bread to appetizers to entrees all top notch. We met some old friends here for dinner we were all impressed and left with full bellies. Great place great ambience great food great experience!

    We went for Wine and Brine on the patio and enjoyed Pedernales wine paired with some light bites. The lite bites were an interesting Oyster - I need to remember that one - and a wonderful Shrimp "corn dog" type of thing. I LOVED the shrimp one and even stole one from a table mate! Service was great and the weather held off for us so we had a great time!

    Knowledgeable bar staff with plentiful choices of brands - interesting signature cocktails. Entrees were delicious and staff assisted with preparation details to aid our decisions. So nice to have a curated wine list and reds served at the appropriate temperature! Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream and also Crème Brûlée capped off a delightful dining experience. (Would’ve driven an hour to Henry’s as their ice cream really is that good, but thanks to Waters, we didn’t have to!)

    Excellent food, friendly service though there times they were a bit scarce. We ate outside, which was chiller than anticipated. The restaurant were quick to provide heaters. Will definitely return (and sit indoors next time) & recommend. The lobster tail & tuna tartare were fantastic!

    Well our waiter was absolutely exceptional! Now the other younger waiters were very inappropriate, they could not stop staring at my wife and making it uncomfortable for her everytime they would walk by. We have been to Waters a few times when it was at the other location, but since they moved their menu is only maybe half of what it was and the quality seemed like they have let it slip. The oysters were ok at best, they were like they were shucked in a hurry because they were cut up, I still ate them but just had to work to get them on the crackers. The filet steak was bland as there was no seasoning on it not even salt and pepper. The lobster tail was pretty good but for 6oz it should have been exceptional. Unfortunately $240 for 2 people is not something that I'm willing to throw away again, especially with the staring waiters.

    Our table took about 10 minutes to get ready past our reservation time. Things happen. We understand. Went to bar to grab a drink. We were very hungry and tried ordering appetizers right away. Our server told us we had to wait until we ordered everything. When she came back with 2 drinks for my friends, we tried to order oysters again. She told us again we can order apps when we order dinner. She told us features. Went over some things over menu. My friend tried to order apps again. We were very hungry. Again we were told we had to wait. This really bothered me. Just do what the customer wants. It’s not like we wouldn’t order entrees. I don’t understand. When she finally put our app order in, she forgot one. Then she forgot to bring out my friends beer. Really disappointed. Food was delicious. We still tipped over 20% because we know sometimes you are having an off night.

    I wanted to like this restaurant so badly. We need a good seafood restaurant in Sundance Square. It started with being seated. We were taken to a lovely table for four by the window only to be told we were seated at the wrong table and led to a small booth by the bathrooms. Next, we were presented with a menu and a wine-by-the-glass list. We had to ask for a wine list so we could order a bottle. The menu was extremely lacking. We had a member of our party that is allergic to seafood and there was only one option for him. There were also only 4 options for seafood entrees. So extremely disappointing. My entree was good but overpriced. We left dissatisfied and went to another nearby restaurant for dessert. My final word: skip it
