    The food is very generic, like generic hotel food, nothing special about it. The fish felt to be like frozen cuts… on the dry side… The exterior ambiance is good the interior is not so great as the lights are cold lighting and not warm lighting. Didn’t try the red meat perhaps that is better but not good enough for us to try again.

    Ate there for our anniversary. Food was delicious and the service from Marylou was excellent Will definitely return. There I is some construction happening but it didn't interfere as we sat inside. Roy, the owner stopped by to check that everything was okay.

    While we have had good experiences here in past years, this was not a good experience for us. The music was way too loud you could barely hear the people at your table, the service was really slow, and the food was honestly mediocre. Half of the restaurant was also closed off due to a big construction project, so you couldn’t even see the sunset or even the beach from the table. If we had known that much of the restaurant was closed off/affected by construction we probably wouldn’t have even gone.

    Edited review: Not everything was perfect at our dinner this past Thursday, but please let all potential guests know that we were contacted by the owner of this restaurant who wanted to make this a perfect experience because his standards of excellence are what drives this establishment. In my years of international travel I have never witnessed a manager/owner who simply wanted to make the experience amazing. Roy (owner) was not only humble and gracious to us but extended every courtesy possible. If this was the model for all service experiences our world would be amazing! We will be back a second time due to his desire to be perfect. We trust it will be amazing!. Cheers to Water’s Edge!

    Food was very flavorful. For starters we tried the coconut shrimp and they were exceptional. For our mains, we tried the grouper, red snapper, mahi mahi and pasta with shrimp scampi and it was all so delicious. Even the burger from the kids meal was amazing. Service great. Ambiance nice as they had a violinist. Would definitely recommend.

    Started out well, setting is ok, live music was good. Had corn clam chowder as an app, was really good. Our mains went downhill pretty quick. Ordered their main fish dish, seared red snapper, lemon butter sauce. Wife ordered French onion soup and a baked potato. Fish came overdone (very firm and bland), no sauce, obviously premade blobs of mashed potatoes barely warm and very dry. Baked potato was “crunchy” and cold, obviously not cooked all the way. Sent back, got another immediately that was cooked, but the butter and sour cream the first one came with didn’t make it. So back went the server again. So moral of story is there seems to be no quality control or checks being done to make sure the correct things are going out. After sending the server back 5 times to fix simple problems we finally got the food we ordered. Just not good, do not recommend wasting a precious vacation night at water’s edge.
