The overall service was on par with the ambiance, which was high quality. Food and drinks were amazing. Overall wonderful anniversary dinner.

Excellent meal, intuitive and unobtrusive service, delicious food and drinks, special birthday touches including a card and mini dessert, and a cannot beat view from the patio!

Very nice atmosphere! We were seated next to a window so we were able to people watch. and enjoy the view of the ocean, and the bridge.The Chefs choice oysters were excellent! Would highly recommend them. The Alaskan Halibut Ceviche was very good. The Pan seared Patrale sole and the Oak grilled Tombo Tuna were excellent, cooked perfectly and spices and flavor were on point, would highly recommend both of these dishes. The only negative thing I could say is we had to ask for bread a couple times before we got it and a long wait for an iced tea. Other than that it was a great experience! We will definitely be going back!

Our food was good, everything for the 4 of us were happy. The oysters were great, the mussels were fresh and plump, Petrale of sole was good, miso steak was good and the shrimp po boy with freshly made potato chips were good. Even the cocktails were good especially the copabanana. Our waiter, Monte was great and attentive to us. Service was excellent.

The food was good, the service was ok. But what really turned us off was the large dead fish in the bottom of the fish tank and one of the other fish nuzzling him trying to get him to move. It was pretty sad.

If there is a fish that has passed, we call for them to be retreived as soon as the caretakers can get here - usually the same night. Sincerely, Rich T.

Great experience all around. Sat outdoors on small patio. Impeccable, non-intrusive service throughout meal. Cocktails were on point. Delicious oyster appetizer, explained very well to non-experts. Both had different fish entrees which were absolutely delicious. Will repeat when I get a chance!

It took over ten minutes after sitting down to get water. We had to ask the guy giving us water to bring our waiter to order drinks. We were sat next to the aquariums and they clearly aren’t cleaning them properly. There was a dead fish in the tank next to us the entire time with a big one trying to eat it. It was very difficult not to focus on that during the meal. If you are going to keep animals at your facility, take care of them. It’s heartbreaking to see how dirty the water was. The food was good but I wouldn’t come back for it.

We enjoyed a leisurely late lunch at WaterbarSF, nestled on the Embarcadero in beautiful San Francisco. The restaurant's prime location offers breathtaking views of the Bay, complete with the iconic Bay Bridge to the right. No matter where you sit in the restaurant, the vistas are simply stunning. On this occasion, we chose to dine on the inviting patio, where we were treated to a spectacular show by the Blue Angels during Fleet Week practice, elevating our already fantastic experience. The happy hour oysters were a true delight, bursting with flavor. Accompanied by a light and refreshing salad, the combination was a taste sensation. To complement our meal, we indulged in a serving of truffle French fries paired with a delectable mayo aioli, and they arrived piping hot and generously portioned. This marked our second visit to WaterbarSF, and it's clear that we'll need to make it a priority to return to San Francisco more frequently to savor the exceptional experiences this restaurant has to offer.
