    Excellent as always. We were excited to be able to eat on the patio for the first time. The weather has never seemed to cooperate in previous visits. Great service and wonderful food. Easily one of the best restaurants in Kansas City.

    The outdoor patio was beautiful and walking through the building you could tell that was lovely too, but the food was disappointing. It took a long time to be served and what came out of the kitchen was lacking flavor. Crab cakes were bland, on top of a dry and over toasted English muffin. Steak was rubbery instead of tender. Both of us found it underwhelming which is a disappointment because the atmosphere was so beautiful.

    The royal tea experience was fun. Plenty of food for a full meal, tea was tasty, and fun ambience.

    Disappointing. Made the reservation weeks ago as son and his girlfriend were visiting. We were greeted right away and that was the most memorable part of the evening. Our waiter was training another staff member who was very attentive with our water. We waited fairly long for our drinks, ordered appetizers and then everything came at the same time. I had a wine flight and decided to order a full glass of wine which never arrived. My son’s steak was overcooked and he ordered medium rare, normally you are asked to cut it to make sure it was cooked correctly. We paid for a very nice dinner and left the restaurant feeling very low. I mentioned it was my son’s girlfriend’s birthday and she received a sparkler in some fake flowers. Really, all this for the price we paid for a meal in a “castle”. Sad, very sad. We drove 40 minutes and we do not plan on returning.

    Fun to try a new place. Ate outside on the patio. Service was great. Food was really marginal and disappointing. One and done.

     Had the worst dying experience. They were clearly understaffed and the waitress was terrible. The food was fine not worth going back a second time. It’s too bad cause it has potential, but the lack of service and attention to detail was ridiculous.

    Everything was fantastic. Some of the items we ordered we either didn’t get or it came out wrong but it didn’t ruin the experience. We got a tour of the castle and the “Queen” took our pictures. It’s so beautiful and a wonderful experience

    Beautiful patio to be enjoyed during the warmer months. Food and service are always excellent. Menu changes with the seasons and is creative, delicious and consistently excellent.

    I did a reservation online, but when we arrived, we were asked to pay more than what was online. especially in front of other guest all at our tables. The food was great,
