Pairing Perfection: Two of Big Island's top chefs, Chad Yamamoto from Walua Social and Brian Hirata from Na‘au come together to bring Kona a collaborative menu reminiscent of their time spent visiting Tuscany and the Castello di Bossi winery property. Castello Di Bossi Winery is set within the rolling wooded hills of Chianti, similar to the rugged game areas of the Big Island. Local game meats and delicate wild ingredients are sure to be a focus of the menu for the evening. The food is fresh , very tasty and presentation is appealing. Daniella is the bartender and server and she takes care of the upstairs area . Don’t know how she does it considering how busy it gets. Her attention to detail is amazing. Third time there in a month. Love Walua Social I highly recommend this restaurant if you want amazing food and a great atmosphere

Amazing experience at Walua. We’ve been recommended to eat here for a while and finally decide to visit. We made a reservation, quick seating after arriving. Server was awesome, attentive and friendly. Drinks, Wine & Food was excellent. Highly recommend for a fancier dinner in town (Kailua Kona)

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. I originally heard mixed reports about Walua. However I have been there twice now and will go back again.

The hostess and server started off with excellent service and it didn’t stop there. Food was incredible and can’t say enough about the staff. What a great dinner

Excellent meal in a comfortable setting. The food was excellent. I recommend the Mushroom Risotto & Panzenella salad. The Foccacia with the White Bean Dip had a wonderful smoky flavor, and the Caesar Salad has a note of something different than the traditional dressing. Our table loved it!

The waitress was wonderful. She was quite polite and made some good recommendations when we couldn’t choose. Everyone else was great too. Nice and courteous as well

I was in Kona to run the Half Marathon and glad to find this restaurant nearby my hotel. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese and a Mocktail. Both were great and delicious, food came quickly, and service was attentative and friendly. The only thing that could have been better if there woul have been some bread coming with the pasta which I would have needed to order seperately. But overall everything was great in all ways, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

SUPER yummy!!! Our server was absolutely amazing and lovely! We were suggested this place by friends that were visiting and we loved it!! Their white bean dip was amazing aaaaand, yes, just ask for a double order of bread because there’s a huge amount of dip. I had the pumpkin dish and my husband had an oxtail noodle situation and it was great!! 10/10 awesome!

The food was delicious from starters (kanpachi collar fritto to sticky ribs) to salad to entrees (pasta dishes) and desserts (ordered all 3). Highly recommended!! Chef Chad came by to say hello was a treat!
