Our new favorite spot! Always great food and service. Been back 4 times and plan on many more.
Love the place!!! Everyone is awesome!!! Mike the bartender is outstanding! And Kate the GM is incredible!!! Truly a great place to dine everyday!!!
Our reservation was at 12:45pm. We arrived early around 12:30, with another similarly sized party entering as a walk in. They were seated first, and we were told to wait at the bar. Seated at around 12:50, the service was slow to begin with. We ordered our food around 1:05 and did not receive it until after 2pm. I watched as multiple parties around us, that arrived after us, order and receive their food. I asked around 1:55 where the food was (nothing was very complex or special) and our waiter said it was almost ready. It took another 15 minutes for our party’s plates to be delivered. No bill comp or even an apology for the wait was given to the table. The food was mediocre, and overpriced. I will not be recommending this in the future.
We had a very large group for brunch on Sunday, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The price for the bottomless mimosas with the mix and match was well worth it, and the food was excellent. We often go for dinner, and this was our first time going for brunch, and we will probably do it another Sunday!
Great service and attention. Food was exactly as expected-well prepared and delicious, although a tad on the high price scale. Will certainly, though, be returning often.
Excellent food, decent menu, great service in a fun environment. Very pricey, however.
We really really enjoyed this place and are already
Making plans to return. I just didn’t give it the full 5 because it’s more casual and doesn’t really compare to a 5 star, but it was really very very good. The mussels were good and the scallops were excellent. Excellent cocktails as well
Always pleasant going here. The manager and everyone else is extremely accommodating.
Delicious food and our waitress was ver hel
Fantastic brunch spot. Great food and great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
Simple, delicious menu. Great, attentive service in a nice, but casual atmosphere.
Prior to attending Porchlight Theater, we had dinner at Walton Street. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Our waiter, Shannon, was very attentive and wonderful, as were all the other serving staff; several managers stopped by to check on us, as well. The shrimp salad appetizer, and the house salad were great. For entrees, our group had scallops, an Alaskan Cod special, and perch; all were exceptionally delicious. Desserts we loved were the butterscotch creme brûlée and the apple pie a la mode. For our group, the ambient noise (patrons and music) was a little loud, but we would most definitely return based on the outstanding service and food.
Great experience as always
Our first time here to check it out and were happy to find another good place in the neighborhood. The hamburger was delicious as was the trout. It would have been nice to have been offered a second round of drinks during the meal rather than after we were clearly finished. Beer offerings were limited but they have interesting cocktails. The Designated Driver options are intriguing. We will certainly go back sometime to try other menu items but we can't say yet if it'll make our list of "go to" places in the area.
Dinner was excellent and service was top notch
Excellent attentive service. The food was delicious and the portion size was just right. Enjoyed the cocktails.
The food was great! Lots to choose from. The service was excellent.
Thank you Mike
Overall, it was a good experience. We made reservations for Sunday brunch, arrived early and were seated right away. It was quite busy and we sat at the table for 5-10 minutes before a manager approached asking if our server had come, which right away he knew he hadn't given the empty water glasses. He filled our waters and took our drink order (we went for the bottomless mimosas) and it was another 10 minutes before we received those and our waiter's attention. The service improved from there and the food was decent.
This spot made my birthday amazing!
I didn’t expect a private room. They even printed my name on the menu!
The option for bottomless cocktails for $22 was a huge hit for my friends. I can’t wait to be a Sunday regular here!
Everything was amazing: service, food, drinks!
The Room is beautiful. The food is good. The service was a bit slow but the staff was wonderfully responsive. Was very busy at the time that we were there. They gave us a 20% disco because of the long wait. We thought that was a real acknowledgments of a well run organization.
We had the beet/orange salad and the chicken hash. Both were very good. Would have liked a bread basket or similar - also found it very noisy during the weekend brunch hour.
Very good! We did the bottomless deal with brunch and found it to be a great value. You could mix and match drinks. Our server, Yazmin, was super attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Food was great!
Great time the manager Chris was very attentive. We ordered the shrimp appetizer it was delicious as were the mussels. We will be back
Thank you Kate and Mike
Always great to introduce friends and colleagues to Walton Street
Went there with a group before a show and it was great. Had never been and will go back. had the whole roasted chicken and it was tremendous. In a great neighborhood. Prices very fair, too!
We were delighted with the ambience, service, friendliness and good food. We’ll get back when safer times get back. Hope you make it through the winter.
Stopped in for happy hour! Great little selection of $7 appetizers and drink options. Nice wait staff. Feels ritzy but it’s reasonable prices.
What a surprise. Very close to the Newberry Library. Came here on a chance after a lecture and was pleasantly surprised. Bar is very nice and the dining area was well decorated. My friends and I had several different things and declared to be very good. I had the hamburger because it is the test. My wife had scallops that were done perfectly. The risotto was not overcooked and mushy.
Love it. Great food drinks and atmosphere!
Much needed in the neighborhood! My new go to.
Food and service were amazing
Shannon, our server, was one of the best I have every had. He was amazing. I would come back to the restaurant just because of his perfect service.
A neighborhood gem for a drink, dinner or a date. Great menu, keto and vegan friendly and best wait staff and service staff around. Our go to place.
First time here. Happy hour was great. Will be back!!
Great happy hour specials
Food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. Wait staff was on top of everything. Always have a nice time here.
We really like this restaurant. I’d like to see more dessert options though.
The sesame tuna burger is awesome!
