When Peter Zemla opened Walter’s at the Wheatsheaf in Badsey, he bought with him a wealth of experience and an innovative approach to the restaurant. In addition, to providing traditionally British dishes and Sunday lunches, he implemented a weekly-changing menu incorporating evenings of specialist cuisine from international destinations. Furthermore, Peter sources the finest fish in the country which he imports freshly from the south coast of Cornwall on a weekly basis, in order to incorporate it into his much sought after fish dishes.
- Private party facilitiesHead Chef Peter Zemla can cater for private dining for special occasions and events. The dining area of Walter’s at the Wheatsheaf can seat up to 30 guests and provides a relaxed setting for family celebrations, corporate dinners and dinner parties with friends. Please do let us know if you are celebrating an occasion when booking and we can provide extra touches to make your dining with us extra special, such as champagne or a celebration cake.
