Gateways Dine & Drink at the historic Gateways Inn in downtown Lenox, MA, will reopen for the season on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Under the direction of Chef Ryan McIntyre, the restaurant offers dinner service Thursday through Sunday, with Monday evenings added beginning June 16.

The newly updated menu highlights New American cuisine, with seasonal entrées inspired by the bounty of the Berkshires—crafted with care for a dining experience that’s both elegant and inviting.

Be sure to check gatewaysinn.com in June for our full summer events lineup, including weekly live music and special performances.

Wonderful dining room ambiance, great drink, with first course Caesar salad nicely presented, though off on the dressing. Main courses overly salted to a fault, had me drinking water all night. The piano player was exceptional and belongs on stage. With dining at Gateway Inn for the music alone.

The service and food were great. The live piano music was amazing as well. The only thing was that there was a large gathering in the bar area that was really loud and disruptive to the diners in the restaurant area. Otherwise, it was a great time.

I definitely recommend ordering at least one of the cocktails. The bartender was passionate and delicately intricate with all the drinks he made. They were some of the most well balanced yet complicated cocktails I’ve ever had.

A lovely and relaxed dining experience. The many small dining rooms were comfortable, the food (including a pot pie recommendation from our server) was delicious and different, and the responsiveness of the staff was exceptional. We look forward to spending time at Gateways again on our next trip to Lenox.

The food and environment was very good. We had a very pleasurable male waiter who was very conversational and friendly. The bartender made an exceptional Bloody Mary. The had a piano player who was exceptional. I recommend this place.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Gateways! All four of us loved our meal. The server was so outstanding and made great suggestions. We enjoyed the beautiful music by the pianist. We all highly recommend Gateways for a delicious meal and lovely ambience!

Food and service were excellent and enjoyed the piano player. Very few restaurants , if any, offer live music these days. A nice touch.

Always enjoyable at The Gateways dining room. Love the ambiance of a historic inn, food is high quality and beautifully played. Service is excellent and management makes you feel like your business is appreciated. We go here often.

Drinks at the bar were well prepared and very good. Bartenders were very friendly. Overall ambience, look and feel were as expected. The pianist in the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately, the pork loin was a little tough and not as tender as it should have been. I would go back and try something else.
