Food was pretty standard and so was the service. Not poor but not what we would expect for a London restaurant. Large service charge added to our bill... even on a set pre-theatre menu. No mention of this on the menu and it wasn't discretionary

Welcome and service was excellent but that’s it ! Poor food quality for the price : no taste for quite simple plates (pastas and burgers). Plus, it was totally unclear for the menu : not everything was available, very disappointing when you spotted something appealing online and asked to make sure the regular menu will be available on NYE evening and they confirm it. Nice location, we eat outside on Covent Garden, nice view and warm terrace. In conclusion : you pay the location and decoration and despite a very good service, food can be better.

Request a table away from the loos and if you’re a group the “cubby-hole” table is great overlooking Covent Garden

Restaurant is in a good location, however our dining experience on a Friday evening was less than great. Arrived at the restaurant, the reception desk inside was unmanned, with no sign indicating they were checking people in outside - once we worked this out, we went over and were shown upstairs to a completely empty room (not the outside area where they seemed to be seating everyone else), and given menus. Although staff were attentive immediately when we sat down (before we'd looked at the menu) we were basically ignored for 20mins. The table we were seated at was not in a line of sight for staff, so it was difficult to draw attention (and as we were in the room alone, staff also weren't coming in to serve other tables). The dining area was also unfortunately next to the smoking terrace, with the door between the two left open so the area inside stank of cigarette smoke. Eventually we gave up, and went elsewhere for dinner.

Booked a table but was expecting to be in the restaurant but placed outside with tourists. Had to ask to be served and then ask twice for water we ordered. Food was ok. Overall reliant on location. Shame as has location and great potential. Hopefully improves.
