   Our server Lily was delightful and checked in with us often. The food was pretty good and there was a singer performing which gave a nice feel to the mood of the dining room. And the view was amazing. sit outside if you can....it was rainy when we were there.

   Tourist trap restaurant. Food was fair (Nachos, Bacon) to sometimes good (Lamb) at best. Loud environment, hard to hear the conversation at my table, easy to hear everyone else's.... The views are good however hence the name and with the venue being part of a hotel property I guess it is what it is. Service was good, not great. It was not for lack of trying so she was tipped her 20% regardless. Food is definitely over priced. If you are stuck at the hotel or its a late night then its good enough to get you by. If you can drive around town, there are much better places.

   Great food and great views! Our waiter was so nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. It took a while to get our food and dessert when we ordered it, but it was worth the wait.

   We waited over an hour for our meal. Others that came in after us and ordered after us received their meals before us. The waitress was apologetic, saying the kitchen is having issues. I understand being short staffed and the difficulties that follow suit but getting our food after the other tables were cleared is not okay. The mood and anxiety that followed as a result was not fun.

   Most everything was great, except the lamb appetizer was basically flavored bone. Very little meat. Not sure what happened there, but that was a miss.

   This was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time. We found ourselves at Vue Rooftop-Dillon on St. Patrick's Day. Unbeknownst to us, they were offering a traditional St. Patrick's Day fixed menu (along with only apps from the menu). The menu looked good and we were happy to partake. That was one of the biggest mistakes. The food was beyond terrible. Really really gross. The fixed menu app selection (Mac&Cheese w bacon) appeared to be boxed with the fake bacon bits on top. The main entree was inedible. The dessert appeared to have been made days prior and just sitting in the freezer waiting to be retrieved. It was practically freezer burnt and hard as a rock. The available menu apps included truffle fries. They were obviously frozen and not heated all the way through. Lastly, even the cocktails were a bust. There is a decent selection of signature cocktails but all appeared to be made with whiskey. As one of our guests were mid request to see if the whiskey could be subbed with a different liquor, the server interrupted immediately to say no changes whatsoever. In sum, highly discourage anyone from visiting unless you just find yourself staying at that hotel and don't want to go anywhere. Even then, I might stick with a vending machine. --- Post visit, we've learned from several other locals that the place is awful (despite the views).

   The lamb riblets were almost inedible. Tough and dry but well seasoned. The "Waygu" was tough, undercooked twice, and full of silver skin and I doubt was Waygu. I was more like sirlion and there was no marbling like you would expect with Waygu.

    Service was terrible. There were only two tables with people when we got there. Waitress didn’t come for 25 minutes. Then before going to bar to order our bottle of wine she went and took an order from people who arrived a good ten minutes after us. Took her about ten minutes to get their order. So our bottle of wine arrived after being there for 35 - 40 minutes - and the place was dead hardly anyone there on a Friday night. Chicken nachos were the size of a small salad plate. Chicken was cold and tasted at least a day old. We left after the nachos to finish dinner somewhere else. Terrible food and service.

    Parking very difficult, made a reservation, but still got stuck at a table in the corner, which normally isn't terrible, but with a wall of windows on each side it was very cold. We were each given a half glass of water. Cocktails were all over $18 each, so we skipped. Our waiter took our order after we'd been seated for 10 minutes. I ordered the grilled portobello mushroom sandwich-very excited as I love grilled portobello & especially because it was made with avacado. 20 minutes later the food hadn't arrived & I had to get up to go get more water for our table. Food finally showed up 38 minutes after our order had been taken. I was shocked at was served to me. Instead of a grilled large mushroom cap, I received a bun (with no avacado! ) that had chopped up mushrooms loosely held together by a little cheese. It was impossible to eat, as every bite spilled little mushroom pieces all over. The waiter never came back to check on us, so I tried to eat some of it, but it was just weird & not good. When the check came & I asked about it I was told, "oh yeah, we're out of that"....it would have been reasonable for him to have told me that when I ordered, rather than plunk some sort of weird chef creation down & expect me to eat it. The food the rest of my table ordered was so-so...fries had little flavor, bun was a little soggy & spring rolls were flavorless. Not a fan, NOT returning.

    Everything we ordered came out wrong and I felt like we were deceived by the menu. They swapped sauces as a “replacement” to something I was allergic to. It was an experience we were looking forward to but it was hands down the worst dinning experience we have ever had. I usually am very flexible but when they swapped they sauce without a warning of they were out of that certain sauce that’s on the menu, that is where I draw the line. Unfortunately that was just the start of a bad evening of dinning, wrong drink liquors, items on the food, etc. very disappointed but hope this can be fixed in the future. Great ambiance and wish things came out as advertised and there wouldn’t have been any issues.

    Great place to go during patio season. The menu may have changed. I have had great food experiences at The Vue when they opened in early 2022 however the food was not great last night (12/31/22). I will hope for a better experience next time since the rooftop experience is THE BEST!

    Winter Apres menu was not great. $15 for a tiny bowl of basically Kraft mac and cheese. The fries were cold and the beef tips were very dry. Would not recommend the food. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was great!! Just skip the apres.

    They have 8 dinner options, and on the night we went, 5 of the 8 items were out of stock. They handed us a menu with all of those items crossed out - so they'd run out of more than 50% of their dinners at 7 pm or so. We left.

    The Vue Roof Top Bar & Restaurant is the only year-round restaurant with a view of Lake Dillon. Floor-to-ceiling windows intimately surround the dining bar. We had dinner for four. The food selection is limited, BUT very good! The cocktails we had were classically mixed; the wine list was minimal. We will be back, no question. The four of us are locals, i.e., Mountain People...and recommend the Vue.

    I almost never write bad reviews like this but unfortunately, I must…. Last night was the fifth time I have eaten at VUE and it will be my last. This restaurant is poorly run and never properly staffed. The servers all do they best they can so it’s not on them. One bartender is not enough to properly service the amount of guests. Everything takes too long - drinks, food, etc. Our burgers which cost $28 each were just average and the fries were downright inedible. Go for the view but expect to wait forever for anything else.

    Was kinda average. Staff was a bit distracted, and not with much because the restaurant was quite empty. When we were ready to order, we were informed about half (not even kidding) of the entrees were unavailable. Drinks took a while to arrive despite not being very busy. Overall pretty mediocre.

    The restaurant is smaller than expected. The outside seating was closed because of snow. The waitress had a lot of tables to service so it took some time to get the things we ordered but she was great. The food was ok but not really what I was looking for. It’s with a try might be a different experience during a lunch hour.

    As of now, I've dined here about nine times. The view and atmosphere keeps me coming back. Everyone I know who dines there says the same thing: The restaurant sits on prime real estate but needs to improve their food and service. I hope management can accomplish that feat as the eatery has immense potential.

    We were so looking forward to this visual and dining experience, but they restaurant was not open when we arrived for our reservation :-( A phone call would have been appreciated. Despite this (mixup?), we will try again when they have enough staff to open the restaurant.

    This place was recommended by several people in the area for the view and as a good place for a reasonably priced drink and food prior to an early play we were attending. However, they didn't know that happy hour had been discontinued the prior month. We felt sorry for the staff as there were only 2 gentlemen there drinking beer. I'm sure the view is great at sunset but we were very disappointed.
