    Always make a reservation when we are in Key West. It is one of our favorite places. Having dinner in the courtyard and looking out on Duval Street. Food is always delicious and service is first class. Reasonable prices. Live music most of the time.

    Third time here and always a perfect time. Food is always amazing. Top notch. My husband asked for coffee after dinner but they dont offer any. Our server went to the corner to bring him back some! Outstanding.

    We had a party of 9 and were excited to try this place out. We should have just gone to Prime Steakhouse. Food was overpriced for what it was. I ordered the Milanesa Napolitana and it was basically country fried steak with mozzerella. Three other people in my party also ordered it and not one of us was impressed. It was difficult to cut and was tough. My husband had the roasted potatoes which were overcooked and hard. We all ordered alcohol and the drinks were not good. I ordered the spicy pina colada and it was watery served on the rocks and no spice at all. When the bill came there was a surcharge for using a credit card. No where on their website or on their menu was that disclosed. They have information their customary 20% gratuity on their website and menu but nothing about a surcharge for not paying with cash. The manager came out and was very rude. It was over $16 in just fees. He told us it was optional so we asked to have it removed and were told no it was optional that we could pay cash to avoid the fee which we would have gladly done if it was on their website or told to us when the lady called to confirm the reservation. We again asked for it to be removed and were threatened with calling the police if we refused to pay the fee. We were stunned at the response as no one raised their voice or got up from the table. If we had known we would have brought cash for an over $450 bill. We apologized to the server and let him know that just because the company he works for is awful we were not going to take it out on him and tipped him well. The manager also tried to justify the fee saying a lot of restaurants are now doing this but I have been coming to Key West for over 20 years and never once has a restaurant pulled this shadiness. With so many great food options in Key West, don’t waste your time here.

    This was our first visit to Key West and we lucked out and made the right choice dining at Viva Argentinean Steakhouse. Service staff, drinks, food and music provided by DJ were all top-notch. Outdoor seating had the perfect ambiance.

    Once you step inside the courtway for the outside seating, you no longer feel like your on Duval Street. The ambience both outside and in was relaxing yet exotic. The food was phenomenal and we went with our waiters suggestions. Steak empanadas, cheese board and lemongrass mojitos. Our entrees consisted of surf & turf, creamy chicken and the seafood risotto. One of the best meals we’ve all eaten in a very long time.

    The food was excellent, however service was slow and unattentive. Outside metal chairs are quite uncomfortable, the restaurant was less than 1/2 full so not sure why the lag in service.

    For a 46 dollar ribeye I would expect it to be flavorful and tender, but it was the complete opposite. Chewy tough.

    We enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner. Started with drinks and the bar and then took our dinner at an outdoor table. The ambience was very nice. The new outdoor bar area is done very nicely. The service was great, food was very good but that garlic mashed potato was amazing! We will definitely be back.

    Food was serviceable. I enjoyed my Skirt Steak but my wife's chicken was average at best. The drinks were good. Service was fast and felt it was too fast between appetizers and the main meal

    Wonderful dining experience. Came here with friends from the west coast. Sampled the empanadas, coconut shrimp, asparagus salad, rib eye, salmon and NY strip. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Service was equally fabulous. Everyone was lovely and accommodating. Thanks for a terrific dinner. We'll be back for sure.

    We got all the way there with our guests and the restaurant was closed. Someone in charge should have suspended their Open Table account until they reopened. We ended up walking to a different restaurant down the street and had a wonderful dinner.

    We got empanadas, eggplant Parmigiana, milanesa and skirt stake. Everything was amazing !!! For sure with a good wine (Catena) I recommend this place. I will back for my birthday.

    My wife and I both had the Skirt Steak, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The mushrooms and potatoes were also prepared perfectly. It’s a do over, for sure.

    Authentic Argentinian food. We ordered the skirt steak (the chimichurri was so good), tacos, and Alfredo pasta; all dishes were delicious and flavorful. The ambience inside is more of a bar but don’t let it deter you because the food is outstanding as well as the service. Place is also kid friendly.

    The waiter was really nice & accommodating. The steak & mushroom were super delicious! However, potato wedges might need more time to cook. The waiter was able to substitute the wedges with mashed potatoes. But then, it was still a bit clumpy. Despite all these issues, the restaurant tried to make it right …. A for their effort ! Maybe it was us with our high standards..
