Every thing, every person and all the meals were excellent!
There was not one thing we would change. We were a party of 7, Grandparents, parents, 2 teenagers and 1 six year old great options for everyone. Vista restaurant, pool service and in room dining were all exceptional. Thank you to everyone at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Spa! We truly were treated like royalty! Can not wait to return for another visit!
I was warned it would be “Hotel” food. Food was just okay...service and cocktails were good though.
The food was very good, but the service was rushed (the waiter took a my dish and my daughter's dish away from us mid-bite). The waiter also argued with my son about ordering the Impossible meatballs with his spaghetti (some kids are open to trying non-traditional kids' foods). Our food came out at strange times (sides well before main courses, even though they were ordered afterward). The restaurant was not busy, but the service was inconsistent. I definitely don't recommend this as a family-friendly choice in a family resort.
This is the second time I have eaten here and the portions and quality of the food was excellent as well as the service.
Dinner was delicious. Wine selection was fabulous.
We had a enjoyed planned for girls night out. The food and service was excellent. Thanks you!
Wonderful service. Great food, family friendly. Just wish they were open more days during our stay!
Very average food. Sat at a table outside the main restaurant in the atrium that was nice. I would not return.
Always love coming here. Already made reservations for Easter.
Our server was really nice but very slow. We had to ask to order drinks, food came out without drinks! Drinks were also made incorrectly. Food was okay!! It could have been so much better.
It was OK. Overpriced for what we got. Not bad, and it was convenient since we were staying on-site.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent, we sat on patio and there was no Italian music and the hotel itself was very noisy that night so it killed the ambiance. We made reservations and table was ready within 5 minutes. Overall restaurant was good and would go back
The waiter was quite lost. We ordered drinks and did not get them till we was ready to leave. Even though we asked for them though out the meal. During the order process I ordered the Parmesan Chicken at 22.00 the waiter said would you like for me to request for a little spaghetti on the side. I said ok and 8.00 landed on the bill for that. It would have been nice for him to tell me he was going to charge me but he did not. The 8.00 gets you a little less than the kids amount of pasta. I sould have just asked for a kids meal.
The restaurant is beautiful. Reservations is suggested. There was droves of people being turned away. But if course most of the people being turned away was groups of 11 plus families.
Honestly I would not recommend this restaurant. For sub-par, service lacked and it was just disappointing.
Cómo la mayoría de los servicios
( meseros) en usa muy malo, el lugar es muy agradable, la comida es rica
Parking $29 is outrageous. Can’t believe we had to pay that much money for parking, what a scam. We had a terrible experience at Vista Montage Italian restaurant. The hostess sat us and 32 minutes went by before someone stopped and asked if we needed more water. Ahh, we’ve been ready to order 25 minutes ago. What an unpleasant experience!!! The doors to the rooms slammed shut too loudly, making it an difficult to sleep throughout the night. I would not stay at this hotel again. The Marriott Gaylord thinks they are a “high end resort” but have a very long road ahead of them. This outfit falls below many expectations.
Food took over an hour to get to the table! Our server, the bartender was very nice though!
Our server was fantastic but the food lacked originality and flavor. Limited choices too.
The service and food were amazing. I would recommend this to anyone and I would go back.
Food was just so so. Not much flavor. Liquor was very good and waitress was excellent.
Food was below average. Ambiance was very sterile. Service was slow.
For the amount they charge the food should be alot better. Not impressed. I have had better food at 1/2 the price. We won't be back.
Menu did not spell out allergens
Not a fan of the spaghetti. The sauce didn't have much flavor and the pasta was clumped together. But our other meals were good. The orenchetti was delicious however.
Our server rocked and made the experience great for us.
Oui oui I LOVE boujie French dinner. Thank you.
Waitress very friendly and helpful. Very clean seating area. Delicious food, though wish entrees came with sides.
Our server was very nice. However, the food was absolutely disgusting. Chicken bites for the kids tasted like fish and the fries were greasy and thick. The $30 sea bass was unseasoned and sickeningly oily. But all of this might have been forgiven if they sat us at a decent table. We travelled all the way from Texas for my daughter’s 13th birthday. We were stuck out on an “indoor patio” with other much younger children, while the decently decorated actual dining room had nothing but adults despite my request for a decent table for this experience. The chicken my daughters ate tasted like fish, and the fries were thick and soggy. Grilled bred was greasy and cheese covered in an attempt to disguise. $8 mascarpone mashed potatoes were passable at best but certainly not worth their cost. Sea bass was taken off the bill. I tipped my waitress $30 on $37 to make up for my own complaints about table and food quality that were completely outside her control. But I would NEVER return, and honestly, the quick service marketplace at the hotel had more satisfying food. Unfortunate as I would have happily paid more for sit down dining over the weekend we spent here if the food wasn’t disgusting. Manager tried to be apologetic and was very kind but that doesn’t negate my daughter’s birthday dinner being completely awful. I deeply regretted not just ordering pizza. Seriously. Do not eat here.
The value for the meal was terrible. Way overpriced for what you receive. Even the ambiance - felt like we were sitting in a diner.
The food quality, especially for price, was mediocre at best. My sea bass was bland, the beans undercooked. My boyfriend's meatballs were cold and very small.
Our service was horrible. Our poor waiter was in charge of not only our table, but was also the bartender and the to go person.
Our appetizer didn’t come out until our main course did and the bread was burnt.
We didn’t realize that the chicken Parmesan didn’t come with noodles like it does at every other restaurant so we had to ask for them and they didn’t come out until 30 minutes after dinner was served. And not once were we asked if we wanted another drink.
We were originally planning on going back for brunch the next morning but due to the food and service we took our business out of the resort and had a much better experience.
We went here for Thanksgiving dinner and what a surprise. Everyone here greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. Our server was wonderful and explained how they decided to do "Family Style" servings for the meal. We started with our drinks and some hot yeasty rolls that had a delicious citrus honey butter to spread on them. The salads were fresh and delicious as well. The main course was Turkey and Roast beef. All the food was hot and delicious including the side dishes of mashed potatoes, stuffing, home made cranberry, and green chili corn. To end our meal they provided a very yummy pumpkin mousse topped with creme.
Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be happy with their meals and our server made sure our drinks were always fresh. I will definitely come back!
Highly recommend! We had a lovely dinner. Food was delicious and the service was quick and courteous.
Had one of the best meals. Best Caesar said and by far the best chicken marsala ever!!!
Food was subpar at best...Olive Garden would have been better at a 1/3 of the cost
Good service, but food was way overpriced and just ok. We however prepared our expectations and had a good time!
Ordered calamari, which was a bit overseasoned. Chilean Sea Bass was very good. Large Prawns were beautifully presented, but underseasoned. Side dishes were great.
Service was slow on delivery . Also took awhile to get seated.
The food was ok. What threw me off was when we ordered an appetizer of bread, and we asked our waitress about when our bread will come out and she told us “You didn’t order bread.” Instead she should have approached the situation in a different appropriate manner.
It was overpriced average Italian food. I asked for the wine list and it was never brought, the waitress also never returned to take my cash so I had to add it to my room charge. The service was very poor and the restaurant was not busy.
A little expensive, food was good (not exceptional) and service was pretty good. All in all, a place worth trying when staying at the Gaylord. Would not make the drive just for the restaurant however.
