It serves a wide range of house-cured meats and local cheeses as well as plenty of fresh, seasonal produce. The atmosphere is cozy and emphasizes the "face-to-face"philosophy where you sit right in front of the bar to watch your meal or cocktail being prepared. The menu at Vis a Vis Wine + Charcuterie Bar is varied and emphasizes small plates that are great for sharing. Service was poor. Took 1.5 hrs to get our food. 5 roses in wine list. Only one in stock. All of the food was like warm when it arrived. Vegetables were undercooked. Lamb was ordered med rare. Arrived med cooked. Very disappointing. Would not return.

Always good here - nice neighborhood feel, genuine staff, top quality food and drinks. And the patio adds to the happy ambiance.

Our server was knowledgeable and just excellent. Food was excellent!! Wine list and the server's knowledge was superb...........loved it.

We came here for our 50th Anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, as was the service as well as the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Have been here before. We are no frim Victoria but when we visit we enjoy this restaurant. The avocado shrimp salad is my fave and it did not disappoint this time. The Hugo spritz was refreshing and it was a lovely treat experience on a beautiful day in Oak bay!! Not to be missed.
