We had a wonderful experience! Loved the biscuit appetizer and each of our four different entrees were incredible. I had the short ribs and they were melt-in-your mouth delicious and flavorful! Our server was very attentive and not overbearing at all. First, but def not our last visit!

This is my second time visiting and the food is among the best in Chicago, if not the best in Chicago. My wife ordered the short rib I had last time and it was as delicious as I remember. The biscuits and pimento cheese was divine. The blackened catfish was spectacular. The chocolate cake dessert was so perfectly balanced. Our waiter and servers were gentlemanly. My favorite restaurant in Chicago

Waitstaff is terrific in helping narrow down choices. The biscuits are a must-have. We had the blackened catfish and the red drum with really great asparagus and crushed potatoes. And we had room for 7-Up cake to boot!

I would recommend visiting this spot. It was the best food we had on our entire Chicago trip. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly.

The food, {fried tomatoes, short ribs, fish and grits just to name some of what we had}, was delicious. We were greeted with smiles. We were immediately seated at our reservation time. Our food was served in a timely manner. From the front door until we were ready to leave, all the staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend that you put Virtue restaurant on your must visit list.

I had an incredible dining experience at Virtue! The atmosphere blends Southern warmth with modern elegance, and the service was thoughtful and welcoming from start to finish. The standout for me was the catfish-perfectly seasoned with a crisp, golden crust and tender, flaky inside. It was elevated Southern comfort at its best. Virtue lives up to its name with food that feeds both body and soul. Can’t wait to return!
