   Wonderful place! Great tasting food! Excellent service! I would highly recommend this place to any wanting to have a nice date with a nice view.

   Food was great and so was the view, but we arrived a little after 6:30 with friends. Ordered some food and wine flights and were told we had to get out in 45 minutes because the wait staff had to go home since had come in at 11:30 and had to go home before 8pm so the owner didn't have to pay overtime. At 7:30 we tried to order desert but we're told we were too late. Not very acceptable. Stagger the shift so you can serve people without paying overtime.

   I was running late, so I called to move my reservation back a bit and they said it was no problem. I showed up and they asked for my name, but they sat me at a really bad table when I asked for a seat near a window to watch the sunset. They eventually moved me after I asked, and the table they moved me to had a reserved sign with my name on it. Why didn’t they put me at my reserved table in the first place? Then they forgot about me and I couldn’t order another glass of wine. First world problems, I know, but I was really hoping to have a nice, relaxing evening and it was not at all.

   After a long day of traveling, a glass of wine and dinner was exactly what I needed. Vino Locale delivered exactly that. I ordered the short rib ravioli with a glass of red wine (recommended by the server) which hit the spot. My mood lifted with live music, great food, and an amazing view. I highly recommend Vino Locale!

   Fantastic staff and space, good finger food and great wines. This is one of our new favorite places.

   Tried Vino Locale 06/29/19 as wanted a light dinner/tapas and wine. Arrived at 8:00p and was one of only three tables occupied. Live music group was putting stuff away after having played 6:00p-8:00p. VL closes at 9:00p, and they could have closed at 8:15p had we not been there. Wines we selected were good but one tasted like it had been opened a while. (The down-fall of wine by the glass. Higher end places would have used a good system to keep wine fresh.) The meat/cheese tray was OK, but not worth the $20 price. Regretfully, we don't see Vino Locale being open long.

   Beautiful view and the local red wine flight was very good. Food was excellent and more interesting than most wine bars.

   This place is a hidden gem. Small and cozy, with location upstairs on the Santa Cruz wharf affording great views from both sides. Tapas are really good and wine list excellent. The seating is limited in the restaurant with just a few tables

    At the moment they are 21 and up which is nice. The wine pairing and cheese was great!
