Phenomenal spot. Such a hidden gem! Every plate was made to perfection, the service was very attentive. Salmon fettuccine and the spinach ravioli were bomb! We were late for our appointment but Giuseppe took care of us and made the whole night a very pleasant experience. 100% recommended 👌

Charming little Italian restaurant. Your drinks are flowing and your food is perfectly timed in between your drinks. It’s like you’re sitting in Italy enjoying “un bichiere di vino 🍷”. I indulged in the PAPPARDELLE RAGÙ AND FUNGHI and it was amazing, prepared to perfection. We all enjoyed the charcuterie board for two between 3 of us and plenty of and had a few bites left to bring home. The ambiance was exactly what we’d expect from an Italian restaurant; happy servers, the owner friendly and attentive, the customers are happy— the noise level is great not too loud but loud enough to feel at home and comfortable to laugh freely. If you’re looking for an Italian experience this is your place. Thanks for a wonderful night.

It was so nice to get greeted by the owner. The service was excellent and we were definitely taken care of. Food was fresh and delicious. You definitely have a feeling of being at a restaurant in Italy. The aromas when you enter the restaurant were inviting!

We are so pleased by this restaurant. Great food and service! I had move my reservation out a few hours and the owner/manager was able to accommodate us, and ended up reserving a table inside. We ordered several glasses of wine, the garlic bread, calamari/shrimp, steak, linguine vongole and all were exceptional. Thank you for taking care of us!

Best Italian food I've had since I was in Italy! We had the Eggplant Parm app and it was incredible. Had Pappardelle Fritti Di Mare and it was fresh, delicious and loaded with seafood. Service was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place.

We were there to celebrate my daughter's 17th birthday. I'm glad we came here. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the whole staff was great, and our server was on top of things. It was our first time at Vinarius and I already want to go back! Highly recommended!

Vinarius certainly lived up to its name ratings! From a very friendly reception to dessert. Drinks before dinner were tasty. The wait staff were informative and attentive without being over bearing. The food was amazing! My husband had pollo parmigiana and I had salmon al vino…I thought mine was best, ha! In truth, both were very flavorable. I think my husband’s dessert, the chocolate cake was a tad better than my crème brûlée, but again, both were pretty good. I highly recommend Vinarius…no reservations here, great food and great service! Bon a appetit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Vinarius last Sunday. They made our anniversary dinner a wonderful occasion. They were welcoming and attentive to all our needs. They gave us a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. And they allowed us to split several dishes which turned out to be perfect for us. All in all we would heartily recommend this restaurant.

Every time we are greeted at the door at Vinarius, we feel we are stepping into a local restaurant in Italy. The food, the service is exceptional! Best calamari and the seafood special is our favorite. This restaurant is a jewel in little Italy. We live in Kansas City and would not miss an evening at Vinarius when visiting San Diego.

It’s a very small but cute place, the service was great and the food was delicious! It’s a little over priced just like everywhere else but at least this time you actually get good tasting food. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

I came on a Sunday night with my boyfriend then had to go back for more on Tuesday night with my best friend. The food was AMAZING, wine was delicious (loved the wine glasses too), and I can say without a shade of a doubt that I had the BEST espresso martini I have had in my entire life time of drinking alcohol. Staff was extremely warm and attentive especially our girl Paola at the bar and the owner Giuseppe. Will be back for sure! And will recommend to anyone who is looking for a spot to eat.

Very nice wine selections. Appetizers were tasty. We ordered pizzas, word of warning, with an appetizer the pizza is little much for one person, we wound up taking half of them home. Very good imported ingredients on the pizzas. Service was attentive and prompt. Price for the quality was very reasonable. Excellent taste of Italy in Little Italy.

This place is so great we went 2x during or stay in San Diego. The lasagne was amazing (so much so - I had it 2x) and my husband had the linguini with clams and the Pappardelle Ravi as well- both excellent. The owner (Giuseppe) is totally hands on and completely attentive - so our experience was top notch. Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Can’t recommend this enough!
