Vinarius is an Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Little Italy San Diego. We offer an extensive wine list with wines coming from different regions of the world; the best meat and cheese board with Italian cured meats and different cheeses to pair with our wines. Our chef Alex makes homemade pasta enriched with our homemade sauces, entrees, pizza, different appetizers to choose from, and desserts that pair well with our port wines and after-dinner drinks. You definitely have to try our daily specials!
Our cozy full bar is also the perfect place to enjoy your drink and food while watching some sports!

I’m fortunate to live a few blocks away from this neighborhood favorite. We are always warmly welcomed into the restaurant. The wine list is extensive and I love their limoncello spritz. The artichoke appetizer and bread is an ideal way to start the meal, but I enjoy many selections from the appetizer menu. I often order only appetizers and not a main course. The daily specials are definitely worthwhile, but often are pricey. It is always a good option to share a few appetizers and split an entree. The service is friendly and attentive. I love their limoncello spritz limoncello shots provided at the end of the meal. I have never been disappointed at Vinarius!

Exceptional service from entire staff especially Francesco. Delicious meatballs & lasagna. Lobster in seafood ravioli just a bit over cooked, but still tasty. Pesto ravioli very tasty. A ton of toppings on the pizza. Good wine list but a bit pricey. Overall, one of our favorite restaurants in Little Italy. Will definitely go again and may be our new “Go To” spot.

Had a great time for happy hour. All of the food and drinks were great and the waiter and owner were all very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Went to Vinarius to celebrate an anniversary. The staff were extremely polite and engaging. The food was delicious, every thing we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Drinks and wine were carefully crafted and selected. The staff made great recommendations for wine pairings and were very generous in allowing us to sample some different varietals. Outstanding meal from beginning to end.

I have been to Vinarius many times and always had a good experience. Food is always excellent, and the service is impeccable. I have always asked for recommendations on wine from the waiters and bartenders and they always have something good. A bartender with a septum piercing literally jumped in excitement when I asked what she recommended and then ordered a glass after a taster.

We had a great time in this cozy restaurant. I had the Eggplant parm which was delicious, highly recommend. It’s on appetizer menu but perfect size for a main course. And there was a pistachio cake for my friends bday they gave us that was great too.

Excellent food and service! The lamb shank special was to die for. Penne with vodka sauce is my all time favorite dish on all of India Street.

We were greeted warmly and seated as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. As we were going over the menu the specials were described to us so we could make a decision on what to have for dinner. We had the Seafood Pasta which was a special and the Chicken Alla Rosemarino. The pasta was full of seafood to include a whole lobster. It was delicious. The chicken dish was also delicious especially with the addition of lemon in the sauce. We opted for the Limoncello Cake for dessert. What a treat that was but it tasted even better with some Limoncello to sip on as we enjoyed the cake. The restaurant is small and intimate. Having a meal there felt like having dinner in someone’s home. Adriana and her staff definitely care about their customers. We highly recommend Vinarius and can’t wait to return.
