   We really enjoyed our Northern Italy meals. We had Kelli and Espy serving us and these ladies were too notch! When we get back in the area we will plan on visiting again!

   Absolutely amazing experience. We were celebrating a birthday and Kelly went above and beyond. Everything was delicious and Kelly’s attention and service was outstanding. We had chicken Parmesan and the frutti Del Mar, both of which we would get again! Excellent food. We’ve found a new favorite date spot.

   Italian fare. Nice wine selection. Crisp fresh salad. Main course lasagna was delicious but the sauce was a tad sweet. Nice homemade tiramisu for desert along with a potent espresso martini! Located on the first floor of the Magnolia House

   Beautiful setting without being pretentious or stuffy. Impeccable service, well planned wine list and delicious food. Try the bolognese. You won't be sorry. Perfect for our anniversary dinner. Will definitely be back.

    Cary (or perhaps Kari), our server was efficient and friendly from start to finish. My dining guest devoured the jumbo lamb infused ravioli special. I savored the tender veal scallopini with a flavorful mushroom sauce and seasonal sautéed vegetables. We shared the Il Villaggio garden salad to start and enjoyed every bite of this fresh creation.

    At the end of the night it is really about the food - the service was outstanding, the pasta was overcooked (mush), and the veal marsala was unrecognizable as such.

    Upon arrival we were seated immediately and Erica our server greeted us asking if we were celebrating anything and her service throughout our entire time was impeccable. The food was amazing, so much flavor and the fresh pasta was delicious. It was quite busy, yet, we were never rushed as Erica ensured we enjoyed our experience. I highly recommend Villaggio and will return when we are back in the area.

    This was by far the best meal we had while at Pinehurst. I had chicken piccata and my husband had veal marsala and both were excellent. We also had a bottle of chianti that was a good value -- tasty at an appropriate price. The service was very professional. This restaurant was a much better dining experience than the Carolina Room and 1865 in all aspects.

    From the time we entered the Villagio Ristorante till we left, our experience was exceptional. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and prompt in their service. The food was excellent and we never felt rushed. Great place to celebrate a special occasion!

    I'm a local and I've been to the restaurant a number of times and last night was a huge disappointment. First of all, our server wasn't terribly pleasant. Sensing she might ruin our evening, the four of us went out of our way expressing thanks and appreciation. Fortunately, we were able to turn things around. Sadly, the food which is usually amazing, wasn't up to par. The pasta appetizer was overly seasoned with salt and pepper. My duck was overcooked and tough and the vegetable had way too much garlic. Dessert while tasty, was doused in marinated berries which overwhelmed rather than compliment the dish. Lastly, every other time I've dined there, the restaurant has been sold out. I was surprised on a weekend night to have only half of the tables occupied. Perhaps word has gotten out that it's not what it was before the resort took over.

    Villagio was a great choice for a Mother's Day dinner. Love the beet salad, grilled calamari, carbonara and con zucco pastas. Gary was a wonderful waiter! Will definitely come back soon.

    Our hostess was not friendly. She asked us to be quiet during our dinner. We asked if anyone complained and she said no. She didn’t thank us as we were leaving. Just plain rude. Food and service excellent.

    Great venue, fabulous service, some good food… some not so good . The bread, wine, Burrata salad, and mixed beet salad and the Fruti di Mare were excellent. Chicken Parmigiana was an overly deep fried chicken breast over linguine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, sauce was ok, chicken was disappointing at best… sent it back. They brought us out another dish. The second chicken breast was less overcooked, but deep fried nonetheless. Tiramisu was a flop. Go with friends, sit out on the porch, enjoy some wine and an appetizer…

    Very enjoyable evening. The service (start to finish) and the ambiance were stellar. Entrees were good. The bread service was top-tier. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of tiramisu over the years—it’s always my go-to dessert when available.

    Now our favorite restaurant in Pinehurst. Just never do bar seating. Service was great, table fine, but because of the small space at time the noise would be out of control. Service was still great.
