   View has fast become my favorite Redding restaurant to visit when I’m in town! Food, service, ambience, and now the opening of the patio for the summer. Love it!

   From the warm welcome at the front desk to the intelligent responsiveness to our suggestions by the waiter, then the lovely lighting and cozy private table, it was an experience to repeat. Loved it.

   Traveled to Redding for a class at Shasta College. My wife and I had dinner at View 202 two nights in a row and both times were EXCELLENT. The calamari appetizer (steak not the usual tenticals & heads) and scallop appetizer was very good. This was quality food presented in a fantastic well prepared way. Wow! For the entree I had the sea bass which was EXELLENT. The meals were comparable to a 1 star Michelin restaurant at a reasonable price. This is why we returned to a second dinner and it was also EXCELLENT. The manager checked in with us also. Again this was a great experience. What a surprise thank you!

   Grateful that we had Miguel as our server. Miguel was amazing!!! Thank you for the grate service and kind words. I will definitely go back when I’m in town.

   We went to celebrate my birthday & wanted a quiet table outside...which they gave us. It was a beautiful evening & we went early so we could enjoy the quiet. Other than a family who thought it was just fine to let their toddlers run back & forth past our table--it was lovely. This was not the restaurants fault! We tried the dirty looks--but they didn't get the hint. My husband got up & headed their way (just to talk) and they finally controlled their children. Why people think it's OK to let them run & interrupt other peoples meals is beyond me! BUT--we did have a wonderful meal & excellent service! Our server was MJ & she was darling! Quite attentive--but not overbearing! We really enjoyed her! The food was yummy! Don't miss trying the scallops on the appetizer menu! Next time we may just get several orders of those! Very creative & delicious! We travel for business & have dined at View 202 often. It had started to go downhill...but we are so glad we went back to try it again. We will definitely will go back next time we are in Redding!

   We had a wonderful evening with amazing food! Pete was our waiter, and he was very attentive, providing great tableside service. We were a party of six, and everyone loved their dinner choice. If you're looking for a great dinner, I recommend View 202.
