    Much of the issue with restaurants in tourist cities is that if you don't like the (fill in the blank) about your food or service, it really doesn't matter because the restaurant will never see you again, anyway. This establishment had very high ratings from many people. Getting a steak was my goal, esp. at a place that claims it is a "steakhouse". The steak was not the best nor the worst I had. It was made on a grill (open flame?), we ordered a T-bone (to share) as medium rare and it was med rare. The lobster (2 halves) was good but a challenge as the rest. did not crack the claws after cooking it. It was a buttery, messy affair trying to open the claws, and this last thing you want to do when you are dressed for dinner. I was under the impression you get to eat the lobster without having much work to do it. We also ordered their signature burger (server did not ask for level of doneness) and it came out dry as a bone. My daughter was hungry and did not want to return it. We also ordered mac & cheese: no flavor (salt, pepper or mustard). My wife ordered a cocktail and I got a 9 oz glass of wine. Appetizers: escargot (gratin style - do not recommend, too much cheese - unless you like cheese on escargot?, odd combination), 12 oysters. What was good: oysters, escargot (as long as you like cheese on it), steak. Not good: burger (over done), mac & cheese (not much flavor). I mentioned the issues with the meal with the server and told her to tell the chef, I was not looking for cost to be removed - but the server informed the manager and they removed it from our bill anyway. They compensated by giving us two cups of decaf coffee (was good) and the dessert (also good). So we did appreciate the establishment in trying to make it right. I probably will never visit Montreal anytime in the future as this was a vacation. But if I did, I would eat there again, I would ask more questions about how the food will be made and come out.

    Je suis allée avec mon mari pour mon anniversaire! C'était délectable. J'ai d'abords été assise à l'extérieur, mais je n'aimais pas l'ambiance les serveurs semblaient stressés. J'ai demandé aux hôtesses une place pour 2 à l'étage. C'était parfait au 2e, ils ont une cuisine à l'étage, notre serveuse marocaine pas marocaine est une vrai perle. Nos plats excellent et la suggestion de vin était parfaite. Je retournerais certainement avec la famille complète. et au 2e etage à nouveau.

    I travel solo from Nashville, TN USA to Montreal to specifically eat at this restaurant at least once a year for the past many years. I come to eat the lamb chops. This year I was disappointed in the lamb. The meat tasted old and the flavor was off compared to previous years. It was also overcooked. I prefer medium rare and this was medium and a bit tough. The service was excellent and the lobster bisque was delicious. I asked for a quieter, calm table and my table was upstairs and great until a table of 15 people was seated right next to me and then it became very loud and unpleasant, although most of the entire upstairs was empty. I'm not sure why they were seated right next to me. I quickly finished my meal and left, quite irritated. Maybe I'll try it again, but this experience was not ideal.

    Très bon service, serveur très sympathique et drôle. On nous a conseillé le Porterhouse à partager, mais n’étant pas amateur de T-Bone, se fut désagréable à manger. La burrata était excellente par contre, ainsi que le tartare. Pour le prix du Porterhouse, je m’attendais à vraiment mieux comme expérience. Malgré tout, belle soirée sur la belle terrasse.

    For a steakhouse, the steak tasted like it was fried and we ordered medium rare and it was rare. I 100% grill a better steak, better flavor.

    Le steak et homard est bon , le reste est décevant On a attendu deux heures pour être servi , un des plats est arrivé 15 minutes après les autres Cher pour la qualité, le décor est superbe , bien situé , très bruyant

    Bon Steakhouse, bonne ambiance (terrasse arrière), le service excellent et rapide, notre serveur super courtois (Victor). En entrée les calmars frits sont délicieux. Le repas de salade Cesar au crevettes géantes est excellent et le steak de surlonge avec crevettes géantes aussi. Vous voulez prendre un cocktail essayer le Bourbon limonade c’est un délice bien dosée. Ils ont un bon choix de repas pour enfants a très bon prix.
