Best overall experience in Asheville! Will come back every single visit! Ambiance is over the top!
The place itself certainly offers a very cool vibe. Food was very good. Had the charcuterie board and the turmeric cauliflower. The service was poor. Pretentious attitude and did not care to apologize when we were served wine that was well past its opening date and tasted like pure vinegar. Service was so poor that we can’t look past it to go back to what would be a very cool place to visit more than this one time.
The atmosphere, service & food all wonderful. You have to get the Charcuterie board it is delicious. Ask for the wine barrel seating it really sets the mood!
We loved our dinner at Cultura, it is a great spot and they are doing well managing with Covid, the food was fantastic
Delicious steak, great atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
Excellent food with friendly, expedited service! My party ordered the whole menu and everything was delicious with a great presentation. Cocktails were also fantastic! Highly recommend.
We sat in one of the big barrels and loved the whole experience. We trusted everyone was taking all the right Covid precautions and it felt so great to be “out.”
Beautiful location and the apps and drinks were fantastic! Definitely plan to go back.
Enjoyed the ambiance here, but my table of six felt like our server didn’t really like us. Also was disappointed to see they only offered 10 menu items.
Not impressed. Pretentious and overpriced. Only a few entrees from which to choose. We made the reservation for our anniversary. We made the early dinner reservation a month in advance in order to be seated in one of the barrels for privacy and something fun. I specifically noted that’s where we wanted to sit when I made the reservation. We came in and the host said there’s no way we can sit in the barrel because there were already people seated there. So he sat us at the tiniest table I’ve ever seen right by the kitchen door... Then he sat a small party of the belligerently drunk and loud people there 10 minutes later. Will not be dining here again or recommending to friends.
Outstanding service! Wonderful wine recommendations from Jamie. Thank you so much!
Outstanding drinks and appetizers! Great stop after a day of hoping around breweries!
Amazing wine, amazing food, planning our visit back
Excellent experience. Great food and wine. Paige was awesome!
Every drink on the menu was awesome. Food was decent.
While the ambiance is fabulous and the presentation unique- there is little actual food on the menu. Maybe it’s due to covid? If you’re going extremely hungry you are out of luck. If all you want is limited appetizers- it’s fabulous.
The food and service were excellent. The beers from Funkworks matched the meal terrifically. We were treated well. Can't wait to visit again.
One of the best meals, ever. The Thai sausage was deconstructed so that you had to make a bite of each of the ingredients together. It was amazing, for the taste and texture combination. Same for our dessert of curried carrot cheesecake. A mixture of flavors and textures that were so delicious I am still savoring the memory. Next time I’ll do the chef’s 7 course tasting meal.
We really enjoyed it and will be back.
Quite different for Asheville, not sure it will be more than a once a year trip as it is pretty much over the top. Excellent service, very nicely decorated, thoughtful touches and food was very good.
We’ve eaten here a few times. The cocktails are imaginative and delicious. This time we asked the bartender to make custom cocktails. We told him what we liked and the creations were amazing! The food is consistently delicious. We had the crab feast. It was spectacular!
Incredible food and overall experience.
Excellent! I highly recommend the ceviche, octopus and bread bowl! The food was creative and paired well with their drink list.
We visit a different restaurant in the Asheville area every Thursday. Saw a post on the chef, said next visit. There is nothing not excellent about this place. It is an example of the perfect evening. Over the top? Maybe...but not for us!
This might be the perfect restaurant. I’ve been dreaming of going back since our first visit.
Loved everything about cultura! Can’t wait for my next trip to Asheville so I can go back
Fun place to eat and drink, while still making incredibly delicious food. Inventive cocktails and amazing food. We loved the shared plates...fun for couples and groups. Wait staff was nice and attentive. Did I already say the food was amazing!
Very much a foodie experience. We had a large party and did the Baccanal meal. They brought bread, seafood, ceviche, platters of sausage, ribs and bird then a selection of salad and desserts. With the 65 dollar per person charge we received beer tasting and an aperitif. It was really cool, but the food is very gastronomic art and not simple. The best part of the experience was the CBD powdered cotton candy served with the bill. Definitely worth a visit! The bread was really yummy.
Wonderful experience! The ambiance was beautiful with one of a kind surprises. We ordered two feasts and they were both delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to go again.
Our server was very knowledgeable and helped guide us through both beverage and food menu selections. Delicious food and wonderful ambiance! Definitely check out the bathrooms....
Amazing experience and highly recommend if in the area! Great wines to choose from and even better food
The food was pretty good. The server was sweet. They are not so accommodating to allergies and that made ordering and dinner very slow to get rolling and a bit harder than needed. Ok experience, but not so competitive when Asheville has so many great places to eat.
Hard to say anything negative about this great restaurant -- in fact impossible. In addition to the great food and inventive menu, the interior space shows a wonderful adaptive reuse of materials from the associated brewery. Service is very efficent, friendly, and informative about the menu choices. We will be back!
Our waiter was wonderful.. food was fabulous
Best. Meal. Ever.
I’ll be singing praises for a long time and be back soon!
Best part was talking with Chef Eric and sharing our love of Noma!
Knowledgable staff, great atomosphere (our party was seated in one of the barrels), excellent service and pleasant surprises.
Start to finish=perfect
Maybe my expectations were a little too high for this place because none of them were met with the exception of the atmosphere and overall style of the building.
We went for my partners birthday prior to a show at the Funkatorium. We wanted to try a variety of dishes so went the small plate route; our waitress explained that the bottom menu items were entree sized portions- so we ordered 3 small plates and 2 of the supposed entree portions. The food was not bad- I personally felt as though the dishes lacked creativity and innovation when considering the price point and portion size. When the waitress asked if we'd like to purchase dessert, we let her now that our show started in 20 minutes and we wouldn't have time for another course. She brought the check over and never returned to collect our payment- we waited at our table for 15 minutes and eventually went up to the bar to pay so we wouldn't be even more late to the show. Needless to say, we ended up going to get pizza after the show because neither of us felt the least bit full after dinner here.
First time coming here and was blown away!!! Incredible dinner and experience. Food rivals anything we’ve ever had in New York, Las Vegas, Atlanta or any other large foodie city.
Everything was deliciously paired, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was excellent without being overbearing.
Could not have been more impressed!
