    Argentina has long been known for bold, ripe wines—often high in alcohol and heavy on oak. But a new generation of winemakers is challenging that image. At the forefront is Martin Dicuzzo, founder of Magna Montis, a project rooted in the mountains of the Uco Valley that’s changing how Argentine wine is made—and how it tastes. At Vida, we’re proud to host Martin for an evening that showcases his mountain-grown wines alongside a custom tasting menu from Chef Thomas Melvin, designed to highlight the freshness, structure, and elegance that define this rising estate. Martin Dicuzzo began his career in wine as a sommelier in 2012, quickly founding a wine import company in Argentina before joining Bodega Norton, one of the country’s leading estates. But after years of exporting wine, he decided to return home—to the Uco Valley—and make the kind of wines he believed the world needed to see from Argentina: refined, expressive, and site-driven. Magna Montis—Latin for “Big Mountain”—is a reference to the towering Andes range that dominates the western edge of Argentina. These wines come from 3300 to 5500 feet above sea level, some of the highest elevation for grape production in the world. The growing conditions at this altitude are extreme: intense sunlight during the day, cool nights, dry air, and very little rainfall. The vines must dig deep, and ripening happens slowly, preserving natural acidity, balance, and aromatic lift. Magna Montis is part of a movement—one that sees Argentina not just as a producer of value reds, but as a country capable of producing some of the most exciting wines in the world today. Through altitude, minimal intervention, and a clear sense of purpose, Martin Dicuzzo is leading the way. Join us for a night of discovery as we explore a different side of Mendoza—one shaped not by volume, but by vision.

Peay Vineyards was founded with a clear vision: to grow and produce wines on the true edge of the coastal frontier. At Vida, we’re honored to host Andy Peay of Peay Vineyards for an evening that explores their boundary-pushing expressions of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and more—wines that are as intricate and elegant as the land from which they are born. We'll explore multiple expressions and library vintages of their estate-grown varietals, with a tasting menu curated by Chef Thomas Melvin. This collaboration is designed to showcase the unique character of the vineyard site and the varietals that thrive there. Peay Vineyards represents a rare kind of winemaking—one rooted in patience, precision, and a willingness to go farther than most would dare. Farming on a coastal ridge with fog, rain, and wind isn’t easy. But the results are worth it. These are wines of restraint and character, grown in one of the coldest vineyard sites in California. The Peays don’t chase trends or volume. They make wines that speak of a place—and they do it as a family.     I took my wife to Vida for our anniversary. The food was exceptional, as was the service. We loved the tasting menu. We will definitely be back! Thank you again

    This is hands down the best restaurant in Indianapolis. Service is unbelievable. The food is creative and delicious. Highly recommend

    Vida does the best job of personalizing an experience, from the valet out front to the people clearing the table. Second to none. And I especially appreciate that they do not rush you through your courses. Dinner at Vida is an experience to fill an evening. Love it!

    Wonderful.The staff is great.Our waiter Ryan in exceptional making for an unforgettable experience.I almost forgot.Kudos to the chef.It truly is better than eating at home,and my wife is a very good cook.

    Absolutely fantastic experience celebrating a milestone birthday at Vida last night. We had the tasting menu which they were able to modify for me to accommodate a pescatarian diet. Each bite was divine, with the amuse bouches and the dessert being particular favorites for us both. Fantastic cocktails as well. The service from the team was world class, with many special touches that were so thoughtful and appreciated. Highly recommend!

    Vida always surprises me and surpasses es my expectations. This time I tried their new vegetarian menu and to say it was good would be like saying the sun is kinda' warm. lol As it was my birthday anniversary; I treated this poor body and had them pair the four courses with the premium curated wines. They are always attentive and careful about asking if I have any food allergies. Each dish was a delight and the service was far better than I can express with words.

    A gem! Not to miss if you’re on vacation, or live in Indianapolis. We are from out of town and it was an excellent experience. The tasting menu was outstanding, so were reserved wines paired with the food. Great experience.

    Vida was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed it as our first time. The place was busy but you got exceptional 1:1 service. We can't wait to go back someday. The food was perfect. We did the chef's tasting.

    Such a special experience! We were celebrating our anniversary and our server, Ryan, ensured we felt welcomed and comfortable all evening. The service was perfect - everyone was attentive without hovering. Every dish described completely. We each had the four course meal and opted for cocktails instead of the wine pairing. The cocktails were unique, and the food was delicious. Starting with a hamachi amuse bouche, which was a perfect bite. We then enjoyed the grilled octopus - perfectly tender - along with the hamachi. Second course of scallops - again perfectly cooked - and foie gras which was incredibly rich. Third course was ribeye for him, barramundi for me - delicious and perfectly executed again. Now I’m stuffed so I got my lemon cake to go but the donuts were really something! This was really a prefect place to celebrate a special evening.
