   That is a very unique place to dine. It is an old church, remodeled perfectly for a restaurant even has outdoor seating and a large bar.

   My soup had been cooking for so long that the shrimp were mushy. I had ordered a side of brussel sprouts which were brought out 5 minutes after we had finished entrees, the plates had been cleared and dessert drinks had been brought. I told the server that it was way too late and she said she would box them up and took them away. When she brought it back I told her that was unacceptable for me to pay to have to reheat fried brussel sprouts at my house that would no longer be crispy. She sighed and took them away. It was embarrassing and she should have apologized and taken them away immediately instead of trying to make me pay more for her mistake. The service and quality of the food were definitely not up to par with the steep price. I will not be returning.

   Mother's Day brunch menu was average and tasted poor. It was not worth $70. The good part was the service, and the atmosphere. In addition, The architual design of the restautant was stunning.While the ambiance and attentiveness of the staff were commendable, the Mother's Day brunch menu fell short of expectations. The dishes lacked flavor and were disappointingly average. Considering the $70 price tag, the overall dining experience was not a good value. Improvements to the culinary offerings are needed to justify the cost. A more robust and flavorful menu would elevate the experience significantly.

   This was just a casual dinner. The drinks were good: Black Russian, Pimm’s Cup, Sweet Old Fashioned. We ordered the crab dip. That was delicious! It came with several toasted bread triangles. I could have eaten the entire thing by myself but I had to share it with my guest. For the entree, my guest ordered the crab cake and brown butter fries and I ordered the soft shell crab with the carrots. The crab cake entree was very good. It had good flavor and was seasoned just right. The soft shell crab was over pasta. Although I liked the crab, it was rather small and needed a little more seasoning. The pasta was good but it was swimming in the garlic aioli so that was a bit much. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée. It came with a few pieces of fruit on top of the crispy sugar crust. It was delicious.

   Celebrating Mothers Day early and the venue was fantastic. Food portions were enough to feed 2 people with 1 order. Service was attentive, courteous and professional.

   The venue could not be more cool. The food was good but not over the top crazy good. Service was severely lacking. We saw more of the other wait staff than our server.

   As others have said food is meh. The atmosphere is great. Go for cocktails. There is so much great food in Nola I don’t understand how they continue like this. But then we went. The fish salad appetizers was sitting in so much oil and it tasted ok. Was not amazing. Fish was good. Harissa carrots had zero flavor. Zero. We came in to enjoy the cook venue. It is in neighborhood not near anything. At least easy to park. Service was great. Don’t need to go back :(. A shame. It could be great.

    Some of the best food we have had in a while. The flavors were amazing in every dish. The only downside to the night was, they do not do anything special for birthdays.
