Vessel Specializes in Fresh Seafood and New American Cuisine! Renowned Chef Wille Cooper, who trained under Emeril Lagasse & Wolfgang Puck sources fresh local ingredients incorporating many of the traditions New Orleans is famous for. Dinner is served 7 days a week and brunch Sat-Sun! Happy Hour weekdays 4-6 pm (except holidays). Reservations are advised and we welcome walk-ins! Dine inside or outdoors on our gorgeous covered patio! ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST featured VESSEL as one of "8 of the Most Gorgeous Restaurants in Former Churches Worldwide". Paranormal activity lurks at VESSEL as featured on The Travel Channel's hit show "THE DEAD FILES" in the episode "Deadly Vessel" showcasing the spirits that haunt Vessel.     The venue could not be more cool. The food was good but not over the top crazy good. Service was severely lacking. We saw more of the other wait staff than our server.

    As others have said food is meh. The atmosphere is great. Go for cocktails. There is so much great food in Nola I don’t understand how they continue like this. But then we went. The fish salad appetizers was sitting in so much oil and it tasted ok. Was not amazing. Fish was good. Harissa carrots had zero flavor. Zero. We came in to enjoy the cook venue. It is in neighborhood not near anything. At least easy to park. Service was great. Don’t need to go back :(. A shame. It could be great.

    Some of the best food we have had in a while. The flavors were amazing in every dish. The only downside to the night was, they do not do anything special for birthdays.

    Ben was our server and he was absolutely amazing. His upbeat attitude and efficient service made my birthday dinner that much more special. Vessel and their staff are always very accommodating and kind especially for larger parties. Favorite restaurant for any kind of celebration, as a local. Food is consistently superb.

    Vessel was AMAZING! I’m going to tell everyone i know to check this place out. The restaurant was gorgeous, the food was equally amazing! The cheese board was so yum and amazing cocktails!

    From the host to our server everyone was beyond pleasant to talk to they seated us quickly with our reservation and service was great as well!
