Vessel Specializes in Fresh Seafood and New American Cuisine! Renowned Chef Wille Cooper, who trained under Emeril Lagasse & Wolfgang Puck sources fresh local ingredients incorporating many of the traditions New Orleans is famous for. Dinner is served 7 days a week and brunch Sat-Sun! Happy Hour weekdays 4-6 pm (except holidays). Reservations are advised and we welcome walk-ins! Dine inside or outdoors on our gorgeous covered patio! ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST featured VESSEL as one of "8 of the Most Gorgeous Restaurants in Former Churches Worldwide". Paranormal activity lurks at VESSEL as featured on The Travel Channel's hit show "THE DEAD FILES" in the episode "Deadly Vessel" showcasing the spirits that haunt Vessel.     The service and setting were great, and in any other city but New Orleans, the food would have been top tier. Unfortunately, it just didn’t quite measure up to my expectations for a dining experience in NOLA. It was completely fine, but not much better than fine.

    If you're looking for a restaurant with a cool vibe, this is it! Ambiance for the win! The service was good. The food was solid. There were a couple of comments from our group that their food was a little more bland than they prefer. I had the salmon, and it was cooked well with great flavor. It was a little too rich served on top of sweet potatoes, though, so I didn't eat much of it.

    This place was incredible! Such a great ambience and the service was impeccable, in addition to the food. We also learned to have the haunted story that is associated with it. My cold press martini was one of the best drinks I’ve had. Highly recommend!

    Fantastic overall experience! We all loved the pork belly, and all the food was great. They are very friendly and professional, and the food is fantastic. We look forward to coming back!

    Had 7pm reservations. Didn’t get food until 8:30. Friendly servers. Appeared to be understaffed.

    The food and atmosphere was great!! Loved it. The waitress was good but her service was incredibly slow. It wasn’t busy. My husband had the delicious shrimp cakes and for a main it came with nothing. Apparently it should have come with a bit of greens. She did not check on us so when she did my husband had finished his meal. She brought him a bow of arugula. She disappeared and we had to ask for the check. We told her we didn’t expect her to take so long getting our bill and we had to skip dessert. I was hoping to have dessert since I was celebrating my birthday so it was disappointing.

    The sun was in my face the entire dinner. We even moved over one. Normally I would not complain but it was bad . Needed sunglasses.

    Vessel was able to accommodate us last minute for a Sunday brunch party of 7. Service was great and the daytime ambiance was perfect. Blueberry waffles and Boudin Eggs Benedict were dynamite.
