The interior of Vespaio Restaurant is decorated with ceiling tiles, ceiling plans, vintage pendant lighting, classic table seating, a plethora of wine racks and vibrant accent walls.In addition to a full bar menu, Vespaio Restaurant offers a lengthy selection of mouth-watering and flavorful authentic Italian dishes. I have heard good things about this place for years. Finally had a date night here and it didn’t not disappoint. Everything we ordered was great, drinks were great and our sever was fantastic. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Overall, we enjoyed our evening. The vodka tonics were great as was the Sancerre. However, the calamari was average at best with several pieces rubbery and a lack of taste. We had to ask for spoons for the dish and sauce. The cioppino was tasty, but contained too much fish with less shrimp and clams. The mussels were quite good. My mistake was ordering risotto and scallops. The risotto was good but heavy; too heavy for the three scallops.

Service was incredible and everything is made fresh daily. Happy hour until 6pm is amazing for wine, apps and drinks. 10/10!

Amazing food and service. Love how they recognize birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Daniel is the best! Highly recommend the Shrimp Scampi, Calamari and Burrata! It is loud, so you'll need to be a loud talker to have a conversation and the tables are a bit cramped, but hands down an amazing Austin eatery!

My first time going here... the experience given by our server Daniel was top notch. If I go back I'd request him directly. Between that and the food, I enjoyed it.
