Vespaio Restaurant is one of the original South Congress eateries and remains one of Austin's favorite Italian go-to's among locals and visitors. This casual dinner venue is a popular choice for date nights or evenings out with friends, seating every day at 5pm. The interior of Vespaio Restaurant is decorated with ceiling tiles, ceiling plans, vintage pendant lighting, classic table seating, a plethora of wine racks and vibrant accent walls.In addition to a full bar menu, Vespaio Restaurant offers a lengthy selection of mouth-watering and flavorful authentic Italian dishes. Menu items include carpaccio, mixed seafood stew, lasagna, mussels, calamari, spaghetti carbonara, chocolate hazelnut cake, panna cotta and green pasta with shrimp. Everything on the menu is sourced locally and prepared in-house, including the pasta, bread and pastries.

Overall good experience. The shortfall was the food presentation. The dinner salads came out with the entrees. The entrees were taken back to the kitchen, then slow service bringing the entrees back out to us.

We had the supply, spaghetti cacio y pepe as the hot honey pizza. All were really good. We enjoyed our dinner.

The food and service was great, but it was very loud in the restaurant and a bit difficult to have a conversation at our table of 4 people

Great food! We went for my wife's birthday. She spent a lot of time on Italy years ago and has been looking for "authentic" Italian cuisine in Austin. We found it here at Vespaio!

Been coming here for years ! Gave the MNG a ride when I was ubering little did I know he was the MNG at my favorite Italian restaurant!! Great food great service always!
