   Return visit to vertical and it was everything that the first two visits were as well. Excellent food appetizers entrée everything wine top shelf. We enjoyed a Tuscan wine flight and the venture was actually in the Resturant to explain and go over the winery with us. our server was excellent and attentive. Food was amazing. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.

   Our service was 3⭐️ but to be fair the restaurant had the guy serving way too many areas, let alone tables. Overall, good service, great food and ambiance. I will come back for sure!

   We had a wonderful evening at Vertical! It was our first visit here for a brithday dinner. We absolutely loved it and all of the staff. Our waiter, Jay, was great along with all of the other staff. Cannot say enough great things about the delicious food and presentation, fine wines and the service! Gordon stopped by our table a few times to check on us and our satisfaction. We will definitely be repeat clientele! We love Vertical!

   The mussels appetizer and the salmon and swordfish entrees were fabulous. The pan a cotta with granola was not very good at all. Sadly, the panna cotta desert had no flavor and it had at least five times more granola than necessary. The service was very good but the prices seemed a tad high.

   Smoked trout toast is amazing. Don’t forget about getting the grapes. Great flavor. I had the salmon again. Nicely cooked and the broth is amazing. Three people in our party had the double pork chop. Also very nicely done. The red-eye gravy is tasty.

   Vertical is generally a wonderful spot. Unfortunately, last night our waiter knocked over a full glass of wine early in our meal. It soaked my husbands pants. The waiter cleaned up the wine spilled on the table but did not offer another glass of wine to replace the one he spilled, discount our meal or discount/remove the wine charge or even handle the dry cleaning bill. We were attending a concert after dinner so he spent the evening in wet, wine stained trousers. We were very surprised and disappointed.

   Fun night for Wine and Wags! Our puppy loved her visit and the Bark-cuterie Great food, great service and we left the Champagne choice up to Remy (one of the owners) and she picked the absolute perfect bottle! A perfect night on the patio at Vertical!

   We had a lovely dinner at Vertical. The people were all very friendly and professional. It is a cool urban ambiance and the food is good. It’s rather pricey- but it is worth paying extra for a too notch experience. We will be back.

   We didn’t have the best experience. We had a reservation for 5pm and when we arrived there was only one other table seated. When we ordered there was one table next to us and a few diners at the bar. We waited an extremely long time for our food. After about 15 minutes our server came over and said our food was just about to come out. We waited another 15 mins for the food to be delivered. The manager came out shortly after our food was delivered to check in which was nice as we hadn’t seen the server again. He brought us salt as I felt the tomahawk we ordered was a tad under salted, personal preference I suppose. We both ordered a drink upon seating and after our food came a different server came and took my martini before I had finished. There wasn’t much left but there was at least a few sips so this was odd to me. We were never offered another drink or menu. I would have easily ordered another drink or a glass of wine. The server did provide two different tastings of wine when we were first seated at the table and I chose one and said I’d like to have that glass with dinner. That never came. Our tomahawk was not large or what we were expecting. The flavor once adding a small amount of salt was so amazing though. That said, for the price and not great service it was not worth with it. In the end when the server brought the bill he apologized for the long wait for the food, he gave an explanation that “the kitchen was the size of a small closet”. I don’t understand how a restaurant can function this way especially as the host mentioned upon greeting that they were fully booked for the evening. This is not a place we would recommend dining at.
