Extraordinary presentations of food & beverages; incredible flavors - we’ll mark this location as a favorite (the ambience is much, much nicer than that of other Verde locations)!

I had high hopes and was looking forward to this meal. I made reservations for Sunday dinner for four adults. When we arrived we were promptly and warmly greeted. The inside of the restaurant looks amazing. Extremely nice and gave me confidence our meal was going to be great. I have eaten a few times at the Ironworks Verde location and was very impressed every time. The best Mexican food in all of Indy for me so I was looking forward to a south-side location close to our home. The music inside the restaurant is loud and I actually liked the music style but again, it was loud. The rest of my party really did not like it. Water along with chips and individual salsas for all the table were delivered quickly to the table. Our server could not speak English well and could not understand or answer our menu questions. Drink refills were slow. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. Most every dish was bland at best. The only dish that had a good taste was the Shrimp Ceviche. The Chorizo Queso Fundido was OK but nothing special. The other dishes were the Crispy Taco Salad, The Burrito Mexicano which was just OK filling, the beef enchilada, taco and burrito Combination platter and lastly, the Chimichanga. I really hope this location succeeds and I want the food to get some better taste to improve the quality of the dishes. We will try this location again and count this as just a new restaurant with growing pains. While the inside of the restaurant looks amazing I can get this quality of Mexican food at countless restaurants on the south-side.

The food was great as always and maybe even a little better as we didn't have to drive an hour north to get there. So happy Verde is in Greenwood, we will be visiting more often now.

We were not impressed. Our group of four had dinner reservations at the Greenwood Mall location. The pricing is at least 30% higher than other Mexican restaurants in the area and the food wasn't any better and actually worse on some items. I would say the service was no better than average. What was weird was they kept having issues with the sound system and lighting. Lights were going on and off and the music up and down. We won't be going back. The overall experience for the money is just not worth it.

The food was great, once we got some, but the service was subpar. I'm going to chalk it up to them being new. I believe we were sent in a section where there was not an assigned server. Multiple people were offered drinks and had their app orders arrive before us. We didn't want to complain but finally had to say something after 15 minutes. We will definitely be back. The other two locations are great and I'm happy to have something new in Greenwood! If you go soon just have grace if the service is not great.

Hello, We dined here recently. We, like so many others, are happy to see a higher end Mexican restaurant in the Greenwood area. However, I am sorry to say, that unless they change a few things for the better, diners will not continue to visit here. First, one thing which they cannot change: the caliber of people who will be dining here. We fear that the southside cannot afford $100 Mexican dinners. Once most southsiders visit here, they will be shocked with the prices, and many will not be able to return. The Greenwood Mall has changed over the years, and not for the better. Second: the name of your restaurant is Verde, which means green in Spanish. Perhaps it should be named Verde Falsa, as the entire space is filled with cheap fake plants! I guess that I don't understand why fake plants are considered attractive to some. To me it is VERY tacky. Plus, there are too many pots and items sitting around which serve only to get in the way of diners. Other items which can be worked on have been mentioned in other reviews. These are your language barrier when ordering food, and the selection of your music and it being too loud. Diners need to be able to enjoy their meal without getting an earful, and then a headache. Lastly, I ordered the empanadas with side salad. There is photograph is this item on the menu. What was served did not look like that which I received. Our best to you, Thank you

The food was wonderful. The presentation was amazing. Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. The birthday dessert was so good. This was our first time and we will definitely be going back.

Went to this restaurant with high expectations but not sure I will return. We had 7pm dinner reservations on a Saturday. We were seated promptly but were directly under a speaker and the music was so loud we literally could not hear the server and could not talk amongst ourselves at the table. We asked if we could possibly move to a quieter spot and we were told no that they had a DJ and it was loud everywhere. I love music and a lively atmosphere but it was ridiculously loud for a dinner experience. The food was average and being that it was pricier and a little more upscale than just your typical Mexican restaurant I was expecting the food to be a bit better. I had fajita vegetables in my dish but the onions were completely raw. Overall food was not horrible but not great.

Music was too loud, and a group of employees were standing by us talking at a loud level. So loud we couldn't hear each other. Neither could the waiter. We ordered ice tea. Because he didn't come back, I went and asked a bartender if they could find our waiter. When he finally came back, he said they don't serve ice tea. I guess that was the reason he didn't come back. We had to give him our order 3 times. I said "no sour cream" every time he read it back to us and we had to repeat the order because he had it wrote down wrong. I don't think he could hear us because of the loud music. When food arrived, it had sour cream on it and I told him we requested no sour cream, but it wasn't a big deal since it was just a little. The weird part was he brought us a very large amount of sour cream on the side. So big, we thought it was cheese dip. We found it weird they don't serve ice tea, and they would play the music so loud. Food wasn't bad. I didn't know if my wife enjoyed it until I asked her in the car. Again, we couldn't hear each other during the meal.
