   Made a reservation a month in advance. Confirmed the night before. Show up with my group and the restaurant was closed with no warning or notice. Emailed management as to why and said they had no reservation notice from Open Table. That doesn’t explain why the restaurant was closed during their normal business hours anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️.. super disappointed as I was looking toward to brunch with my bridesmaids here and had to settle for a different place down the street.

   I had reservations for today, April 30th, at 12:30 pm. Showed up to the restaurant with my guests, on time, after finally finding parking, and the restaurant is closed!!! Unbelievable.

   The food is soooo good. My friends and I loved and for sure will go back there. The waiter was very sympathetic and professional. The only thing that I could complain is that was too noisy for a moment ( not all the time, but I almost couldn’t hear my friends). I super recommend this place.

   The drinks were fantastic. I got something with passionfruit and would have it again 10 x over. Food was a little pricey for portion, but that's almost everywhere. Service was amazing, our waitress was awesome. The atmosphere was great for carrying on a conversation, and the chairs were stylish and comfy.

   Cool little spot for a date night. Great deal on the oysters! Creative cocktails. But honestly, the food, though fresh and light, flavors lacked any serious interest/depth. They all just seemed rather muted honestly, especially for the price. I think a reasonable place for a happy hour drink and quick small bite, but I wouldn't go there for dinner.

   Went for restaurant week. They had ran out of everything I ordered. Had to settle for what they had left and food came out cold!

   In San Diego for a conference, we were fortunate to find a spot at Verbena Kitchen during Restaurant Week. The food was imaginative and delicious, and we really liked the vibe. Our group of 4 (2 in their 20s, 2 in their 60s) all had a really positive experience.

   Music level could be lowered and it would be nice if they kept doors closed on a’cild day. But the Dr things don’t detract from the fact that our breakfast was delicious and we savored and enjoyed every morsel.

    Our meal was excellent—we particularly loved the deviled eggs. Ambiance was cozy and sophisticated. Will return many times!
