We went there for Happy Hour. The drinks and Cesear salad were good. We ordered a special. branzino. I did not like mine. It was loaded with oil. The fish itself was good but I have had better prepared branzino at many other places. It was too oily and not enough flavor. The olives were not calamata olives which they should have been. Everything was swimming in oil. The noise level was too loud to converse with our friends and the restaurant was too warm. Not enough air conditioning. The waiter was nice, He was trying very hard.

Excellent selective dinner menu pasta with zucchini was amazing. Will certainly go again.

Really wanted to give this more stars. Honestly, a 2.5. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The hostess was terrible at her job. Not friendly, didn’t greet us with a smile, nor did she tell us about happy hour. Your job is to literally be the first impression of the restaurant, and it was disappointing. The food was just ok. Meatballs tasted reheated and not fresh. Lasagna appetizer was good. We ordered the gnocchi and they were tasty, but didn’t taste fresh and pillowy, imo. The Cesar salad was delicious. The decor was lacking and the women’s restroom was filthy. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Really wanted to like this place, but just didn’t hit the mark or meet my expectations of what they seemed to be going for.

Went on a Monday night so it was quiet. Excellent food and service. Enjoyed the squash flower appetizer. Pastas were very good.

Overall, it's a lovely spot with attentive service and delectable cuisine. My only suggestion for enhancement would be to address the noise level. The tables are quite close together, compounded by background music and a saxophone player circulating nearby. This occasionally made conversing a bit challenging, requiring a significant increase in vocal volume to be heard.

I usually like the food at Verace a lot. But not last night. I tried the pork chop Milanese for the first time. It was awful. It bears no resemblance to a pork chop. From now on I'm sticking to the pasta dishes.
