Of course, most people who visit Venice Whaler Incorporated are there for seafood. With options like the corn and clam chowder, crispy calamari and WhalerÕs famous fish tacos, you will not be disappointed. Venice Whaler Incorporated has a number of drinks worth trying. If you have a sweet tooth, the strawberry shortcake, Key lime pie and chocolate pot de crme are all delicious. Terrible burger and pork tacos
We had fun.
It could be a function of when I went, but I wouldn't recommend Venice Whaler for brunch. Their english muffin on the breakfast sandwich was about 3 inches of dry bread so you couldn't taste much else. My friend was underwhelmed with her breakfast skillet as well. I know she enjoyed her drink though so maybe it's more of a drink and hang with friends spot than someplace to appreciate the cuisine.
We had a reservation and we were made to wait 30 minutes before being seated. Other than that, good service and food.
The service was horrendous. We sat around for 30 minutes waiting for them to take our order. They forgot our drink, and utensils. We had to go get the utensils ourselves.
We made 2 reservations for a birthday and when we showed up they told us they didn't know how we had reservations as 'they don't take them in the evening'! We left our table at another spot. They managed to accomodate us but not close together. What's the point in offering reservations on Opentable if you are then going to deny you make them?! Otherwise food, drinks & service were great and atmosphere is fun. Just be aware if you make a res for a special occasion it will likely not be an actual reservation!
The waiter we had, Daniel, was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
Always my go to place when I’m in town!
Our server was helpful and kind! The food came out exceptionally fast and the drinks were cold and delicious! We stopped by on a Friday night and loved it so much that we had brunch on Sunday. Can’t wait to be back in Venice and visit again!
The Brussel sprouts 10/10. Get them with bacon. And the wildflower margarita.
the hosts and servers are beyond accommodating for such a busy spot! always a fun time.
Fun cool ambiance! 😎
Very nice, but loud. Hard to hear
Not much distance from tables
Loved our server and enjoyed the food
Great time, always. Nice added patio outside for more capacity, all while keeping it safe.
We love the whaler! The food & drinks are always delicious. Good vibes only here.
Nice vibe, good food and drinks, and awesome view!
It was a beautiful day to be dining outside near the beach.
