   The Matthew and chef Mateus outdid themselves once again with a perfect pairing. Hats off to a magnificent dinning experience. It was great talking with the owner of the winery Michael to actually get to listen to the origins of the varietals of wine.

   This was the best Italian food I have found in Norfolk. They had really great happy hour drink specials/food and it was until 7! Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Norfolk!

   Our experience was delightful. The waitress was very attentive to us (and all the other tables she had to wait on!) and was able to accommodate any special requests we had regarding our dishes. The live piano music added to the ambience, as well! Highly recommend!

   Great food and love the setting. They seemed understaffed a bit and they gotta come up with another salad as all that they have is the Caesar. Many of the wines were out in the tasting area and nobody was working it. They have great food and settings, and great people, just seems too few for a great experience.

   Ashley did a fabulous job of making the evening a wonderful experience. The food was well paced and delicious. We sampled 11 different items on the menu. The wine bar was a nice way for everyone to start with their favorite wine. The sommelier was spot on with his recommendations. It was a great evening

   We had a wonderful time with our friends. The seating was perfect, right near the entertainment. The food and drinks were fantastic. The carne pizza was delicious. The music was amazing and our server was great. Highly recommend Thursday night for ladies night and the happy hour specials. 5 Stars

   My first visit to Varia was fantastic! I tried the Landing Gear cocktail, which was interesting and quite good. For an appetizer, we ordered the arancini, and it was delicious—the combination of sausage and risotto, fried to perfection, was a highlight! For our mains, we had the Delmonico and the Lobster Risotto, both of which were absolutely fantastic. We didn’t finish everything because we wanted to save room for dessert, and I’m glad we did— the flaming tiramisu was amazing! It easily ranks among the top two tiramisus I’ve ever had. Our server, Jordan, truly enhanced the experience. She was extremely personable and attentive. I give my experience a 10/10 and will definitely be back! Everything was well priced, but I do think the menu could benefit from a bit more variety. Additionally, I felt that fennel was used a bit too much, as it seemed to be in nearly every dish.

    Wonderful wine and food with service second to none. My only problem is with the music it is very hard to hear others at your table.
