Wow! The food was amazing and very well priced. Nice to have the option to bring our own wine in with only a $15 corking fee. Serving staff was great! Will definitely be back!!

Apparently the pasta cooking process changed earlier this month and I wish I was excited about it as much as the chefs. We ordered three different pasta meals and they were all incredibly starchy. Service was outstanding in trying to address it but really out of their hands. Also I was surprised to see 21% gratuity automatically added for 4 people.

The First time I came here I loved it! The food and service were superb! I came back a second and third time and things weren't as good. This fourth time we sat outside and it was still extremely noisy. So much that I don't think the older gentleman server could even hear us. We asked for bread 3x and didn't get it until after we received our appetizer. I asked to substitute a side of fettuccine with white sauce for the potatoes in the Chicken Piccata. He told me they could. My piccata came out as a spicy chicken dish on top of fettuccine noodles with some kind of red sauce. So I got a piece of chicken on top of spicy noodles...so I did not get Chicken Piccata at all...and plus...there was no kale anywhere. I'm not sure if the place has changed owners, managers or what, but there is an angry looking man who walks around managing people. That alone made me want to walk out as soon as we walked in. I would LOVE to give this restaurant another chance because I love the idea and the location...but things will have to change now before I book it. I was embarrassed in front of my friends.

We eat at the bar and service was just okay. We had to ask for anything additional...like more water, or for them ask if everything is okay and if we needed anything else afer the food was delivered to us. Also, kind of strange that we ordered a bottle of wine, and they opened it up, just set it in front of us to pour and not even have us taste it. No reason we'd ever go back.

Patio was wonderful, even on a windy day. Service was impeccable. The half Caesar Salad was just right with a pasta entree for lunch. Very generous portions. The gelato trio dessert was too generous. Your call on whether that is a complaint or a compliment.

I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was excellent. My wife had pizza & it was excellent as well. This was our 1st visit to Va Bene & we will be back. The servers were excellent as well. The only issue we had was the hostess. She barely greeted us when we walked in the door & did not say a word to us when we went to our table.

We had excellent service and a good overall experience. The day was in the low 80’s and when I arrived I saw the front doors open. I asked if the air conditioning was out but that wasn’t the case they had decided to take “advantage” of the cooler temps. Since we had a reservation we stayed. At this price point I do feel that comfort of your guest should be factored in. The restaurant was full and people DO RAISE THE TEMPERATURE of a space. I spent the evening with my wrist pressed against my drink. I could feel my makeup sliding off my face. I won’t be back anytime soon.

First time at VaBene and it was fantastic! Everything was hot and fresh and arrived at our table very quick. Entire meal took about 30 minutes and we didn't feel rushed at all. Sat outside on patio and had an awesome evening meal! We will be back when in the area!

We were seated on the patio. Good for noise level, but not so good as patio slopes and table wasn’t level. I ordered mussels and will not do that again at Va Bene. Broth was too salty and I was served at least 8 mussels that had not opened. There are many Italian restaurants in the area at similar price point that serve better food.

Lovely upbeat local restaurant with great acoustics. The service was tight and right on time and the food was delightful. I highly recommend the ravioli amd the Tiramisu.

We sat on the patio, which was nice, and we had good service. I ordered the seasonal ravioli, which was delicious, but not a large portion. The chicken piccata my husband got was good but it used to be better before they changed the recipe.

Best service in a long time. Andrew was spot-on with recommendations and keeping an eye on us. Food delivery was exceptional and timely, flavors savory and appropriate. Italian blood orange mule was a great tasty new cocktail.

Food was subpar especially for the price and compared to other Italian in the area. Would go back for the focaccia and ricotta appetizer only and would get dinner somewhere else. Outdoor patio was nice and service was attentive.

the service stole the show!! We had reservations for 6 people and they were very accommodating to our request to eat outside. It was a lovely evening and much quieter outside than inside. And our server was amazing! She was on top of everything from drinks, drink refills, menu questions, etc.
