Great food, great service, we even got to sample one of the new cocktails that will be on the reworked drink menu coming out soon. That was a blast. Thanks much.
Atmosphere was very nice. I loved their frose drink!
The restaurant was not aware we had a booking. This really isn’t a wine bar, the selection is not great.
The food wasn’t great, they didn’t have the Quinoa bowl I wanted because the quinoa had gone bad. The pizza I got instead was ok, they were kind enough not charge us for that.
All in all I’d skip the food. The outdoor space looked nice and I understand they have a comedy club night here at the premises.
This was our first time at Urban Winery and it was great. Wasn’t very busy at the time we were there which was nice. Our waiter was friendly and nice. The drinks were great and the apps were good. We will return.
I was unbelievably disappointed with the service at Nashville Urban Winery. There was no wait staff (what was the point of even accepting reservations). The attention to people waiting to order was minimal (even though it wasn’t fully packed). They messed up the food orders and brought out food after it had been sitting under the heat lamp for quite some time. Finally, they “lost” our card swipes after insisting they took them at the beginning to start tabs—they then told us the wrong total, said they would split it between cards...put it all on one card...told us we were “good” and then my friend found multiple pending charges on her card after our leave.
Do NOT recommend and will not be back.
Horrible experience. Our server was drunk- Taking shotguns of beer right in front of our table with the kitchen staff. She forgot our order multiple times and tried to add gratuity which we had to ask her to remove.
The food was mediocre. Don't waste your time or money.
I had my birthday dinner on the patio and it was fantastic!! Annie was our server and she took care of our 20+ group with ease. 5 stars! Would recommend!
Service is incredibly slow and the place wasn’t even crowded. They forgot one of our meals, we had to continually go in to ask for drinks and when the food came out it was pretty bad. Would not recommend.
Very very friendly (if totally overworked) server, but he was really the only good thing about our experience. We waited forty-five minutes for our first round of drinks and appetizers, and another thirty five before our meals arrived. The food was Robert Orr-Sysco quality, and very very expensive for the mass produced quality. Our entire visit was over two hours and almost $100 for three personal pizzas and one shared appetizer.
The venue was great but did not hide the fact that the food was average at best. There was only one bar tender to cover all tables, the bar, and patio. Therefore service was slow or non existent.
I had never been here before, so I decided to make a reservation for two online because I saw it was an option. We were going on a Friday, so I wasn’t sure if it would be crazy or not. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty. I waiting at the front door, but there was no hostess stand and I started to feel awkward and in the way. So I went up to the bartender and said “I made a reservation for two, but is this open seating or something?” And he said yes it’s open seating and when you order (with him) he’ll give you a number stand to put wherever you are. Not really sure why you can even make a reservation here if it’s open seating. I got the feeling that if we had come and it was packed, our reservation wouldn’t have meant anything and we’d be stuck without a table. The drinks were alright, so was the food. We stayed talking for awhile. The place closed at 1am, we knew. At 12:30 we were the last ones there. The bartender picked up our empty glasses and said he was going to close us out. I thanked him and continued talking to my friend. About a minute later, he shuts ALL OF THE LIGHTS OFF. It’s pitch dark in the place and I got a little scared. We quickly grabbed our purses and jackets and got up, a little confused and freaked. This guy obviously wanted to close early. But for two young girls being alone in the dark like that, when we knew it wasn’t even closing yet, was not fun at all. Extremely rude. There were better ways to handle that, if he wanted to get going. Do not leave people in the dark without warning.
Went for brunch. Arrived around 11:30am. The place was practically empty. We were the 2nd set of customers. The place had a minimalist design look to me. Did have a nice outdoor patio area. Had different types of games for people to play. Seems like this place is more of an after work spot. A place to unwind and have some fun, with good food and drinks.
Was in Nashville for the weekend and stopped by NUW and must say great wine! Not sweet like most wineries. Bought a few packs to bring home! Will definitely be ordering online.
Great wine and even better company. Called in with a group about 15 people and they were able to accommodate us rather quickly. Would recommend to anyone coming down or living in the Nashville area.
We had not a good experience on Saturday Feb 23rd. We made a reservation for two, and when we got there at 7, we were told we could not be sat because of a play? We stayed and had a couple drinks, but it was overcrowded and very unorganized.
It was loud and empty. It felt awkward to be there alone with my date.
Showed up to honor our reservation and no one showed up to work. There was a guy at the bar setting up, but he had no idea what was going on.
This place actually surprise me. I only came for their frozen drinks, (the frosé and frozen sangria slushies are out of this world) But the food was wonderful! Even had gluten free and veggie options for me. They have beer and liquor too, that changed the game for me, thought it was only wine here. Staff was engaging and prompt. They have these cozy couches with tables, loved it. Can't wait for warm weather to hit their patio with my dog.
To start with, the seating wasn’t ideal for a large party. Our food was burned and took forever to be prepared. I could’ve forgiven the bunrt food had the server not happily admit she was hungover. Did this to be a new spot in a very awesome area(living in east I’m partial to it.) I was very disspointed to host my friend birthday there.
Good food but poor service. It wasn't busy and took forever to get our food and place order.
Atmosphere and wine are amazing! Wish the owner/manager would step up the food game!
