   The place looked great initially however unfortunately we had to wait 45-50mins for our food order. When we got our drinks, the cocktail that my husband got was missing an ingredient which basically made it just alcohol diluted in water. The staff was nice enough to remake it for him though. But overall, we probably won’t go back, even though the place itself looks lovely and located in a good spot for a walk in the park afterwards.

   The girls in the cafe are wonderful. Cheerful, efficient, so obliging. They make the restaurant a great place to be in. The food is good too, tasty and well presented and there is no waiting to be served. You don’t feel rushed. There is plenty of space between tables and overall.

   Very disappointed with afternoon tea presentation. We felt that there was a bit of false advertising as pictures of afternoon tea that were advertised did not represent what was actually served. Pictures had contents of afternoon tea on a nicely presented stand but it was served on the day on a plate for each of us and also my wife had to send some of her sandwiches back as bread was hard. As well as this, our tea and coffee came with wooden sticks instead of teaspoons to stir and we felt that this did not represent the Hilton standards as this establishment is part of the Hilton chain.

   Not what I was expecting. “Cheap”, uncomfortable , scruffy and noisy. Photos of outdoor not near reality

   Very disappointed with our Afternoon Tea. Stale sandwiches, shrivelled salad & food served was not as advertised on the menu.

   Breakfast is normally available until 12pm, but was closed at 11am. The lunch menu is very limited and uninteresting (burger, pizza, sandwich) and the service is not very responsive. The terrace is pleasant, however.

   Place was totally empty which makes sense now. Wasted opportunity of outdoor area. Most items on the menu were not available . Waiter was friendly but took a while to get us menus etc initially. Food that did arrive was underwhelming. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

    We booked a table for 11:15 for brunch. The website says that breakfast/brunch is on until 12. There’s also a huge sign outside that said “breakfast”. When we walked in it was an empty room with a few hotel guests sat around and cleaners hoovering and the breakfast bar empty. Eventually a waitress came out and said they only had a lunch menu which wasn’t what we wanted / had booked for. We left and went down the road to another restaurant that served brunch. It basically was only suitable for the hotel guests which is a shame because I’ve walked past it many times and wanted to pop in. If the website had been updated or if we were unable to book then it would’ve been fine and we wouldn’t have wasted our time.
