We were fortunate to catch the last brunch before the next round of Covid shut downs. Even with that looming our server Kiefer was upbeat and fun. I had the Benedict- which was amazing, maybe the best I’ve ever had. My friends had the shrimp omelet and tofu scramble- two thumbs up there. Will definitely return
First time in Portland and we were looking for a last minute place for a drink. Would recommend. ( this is in a hotel btw... Nine, I think). Good drink selection. Best IPA I’ve ever had. Also great cocktail. They’re menu selection is limited and a bit pricy. We weren’t hungry, but got one of the cheese plates. It was just right. Quiet and calming ambiance. Good way to end an evening of travel. Check it out.
Had a great time with my boyfriend for a fun date night! We will definitely be coming back either for their brunch or for a nice date night! The service was fantastic, as always. Of course the food was divine!
Delicious brunch. Choices were creative. Four people choose four different items. All were well presented and very tasty.
Very nice place. I hate where it is located due to homeless..walking by someone literally doing drugs in front of the hotel with us walking by (my 10 year old daughter) was not something ill do again however the place is SO nice and food great. Just wish the downtown businesses would start standing up to the city leaders or they'll be gone when people like us fail to return solely based on the lack of policing and cleaning up the area! I feel bad for great places like this.
Always nice to brunch or dine at Urban Farmer. It was nice to be able to go back after 7 months of covid-closure. Food was good as always. Thank you!!
Great to see Urban Farmer reopen - they've created a good environment and felt safe. It was a limited menu, since they just opened. However, it was so great to be out and enjoyed our evening.
One of my favorite spots in Portland. Great food, venue, and service.
Waiter was informative and new his food and recommended the perfect steak. It was delicious and prepared perfectly.
Great service and food! So glad to have this amazing restaurant open again!!
Our server Nick was great! We had a nice time.
So glad to see that Urban Farmer is open once again. The food is still delicious and Nick provided amazing service. In a time when so many restaurants are closing, it's so important that places like Urban Farmer has survived. They've refined their menu - all the favorites are still there with some new ones. Plus, they are taking the new distancing precautions very seriously. Felt very safe dining there.
This place is definitely a "splurge" but well worth the cost if you love beef and good wine!
Great experience second time over as well. Food and service both were great
Wagyu was not very tender :-( overall MEH
The Foie gras was wonderful as a first course, I Recommend Duck Breast it was nice. Butterscotch sundae was great. Urban Farmer has a pleasant atmosphere. I wish every restaurant I visited had such a wonderful staff, Friendly, attentive. I had a very enjoyable experience.
There is no view actually it's located in the middle of the 8th floor of the hotel. You look up and you see rooms. They have it partitioned off well but the setting would be better with something overhead. The food was incredible but so was the price, it's for a special occasion in my opinion. My husband & I split the steak trio and then added sides. The steak was superb! The salad was very fresh. You pay for each side dish. Our waiter was good and attentive mostly. We were celebrating our anniversary and they surprised us with a delicious dessert.
This place is great. We have been here many times. This past visit was the ONLY time I left disappointed. Our server just did not tend to us like we are used too. In fact, I watched them chatting with the bartender while we were in need of refills. Other servers cared for us more than our server did. We will still remain patrons here, but will avoid this particular servers section.
Excellent food but kitchen very slow, so much so that they took $15 off the bill.
This is the place for steak, with all of the appropriate accoutrements, and a few twists. The cocktails are amazing too.
Thanks for the compliment! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit.
this restaurant was convenient as I was staying in the hotel, and I'm glad I stopped in for a meal. The food and service were both very good. The star is the whiskey selection at the bar. They have quite a bit of hard-to-find items available for you to try. The prices aren't for the faint of heart on the menu or at the bar, but it's a rare opportunity to try different types of meat, such as grain-fed vs. Grass-fed, as well as a variety of spirits.
As always the food was great, it is quiet enough to talk, and the service is outstanding.
Everything they have is outstanding.
Another lovely meal at Urban Farmer, which is our #1 choice for special occasion dining. The service was lovely i.e. attentive without being invasive, and our server made sure that we were satisfied with each drink and food selection. The food was yummy (main courses: cedar plank salmon and flat iron steak) and portions generous. We'll be back!
We had a great dinner and everything was tasty. The fingerling tart was a little buttery.
waiter came off as rude and didnt pay much attention to us. My drink was empty for over 15 minutes he walked by a couple times and didnt even check in I had to grab someone else who instead of helping got our waiter instead. For almost $300 with tip for a dinner I would expect to be treated much better
Waygu steaks are exceptional. Loved the Oregon Bison Prime Rib. Ambiance is quiet with very little background noise. If you love streak and whiskey or bourbon this place is for you.
If you like a great steak this is your place! Porterhouse = best I ever had. Perfect.
Urban Farmer has fresh, excellent food in an open environment. They have a lot of Gluten free options and we appreciate that.
We love the marrow and the brunch is a treat.
Everything was excellent! Food, drinks and service. I bit expensive but fir a special occasion it was very nice.
Excellent for brunch, as always. Wish they would bring back the panna cotta!
The service and food were absolutely superb. Very attentive staff. Our waiter was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Delicious wagyu steak. Fresh vegetable sides. Everything was cooked perfectly.
Sent back 2/3 meals. Poached eggs were inedible, tasted like they were cooked in a pure vinegar bath. Hashbrown patty thing was also inedible. Tasted like a rehearsed frozen patty fried in old oil with no seasoning.
The service was excellent and they steaks were great
Friendly staff. Great food. Cool decor.
Food was just OK for the price. Service very good & Ambiance decent.
Out of 5 who attended only one said they would go back for dinner service.
Great food. Attentive service.
Great experience as always. Food was amazing.
