Uptown Bistro was an experience to say the least. The building overall is beautiful. We ordered our food and a glass of wine. The issue I have with this place was the specific server we had. She disappeared constantly without checking in on us. We ordered our meal that came with soup or salad. I ordered the soup with mine and she came back 20 minutes later to say they were out of the soup and it would take a little bit more time for them to make a new batch. 20 minutes went by before she came back to tell us that they weren’t making any more for the day. Meanwhile, a table behind us that came 45 minutes after us all got the soup. We waited almost an hour before getting our meal without our server checking in on us. The manager made her rounds asking the tables how everything was and we explained to her how upset we were at our service. She then got the server, brought her to our table and made her apologize. She asked us if we were getting dessert, saying it would be on the house. The dessert wasn’t anything special. The manager checked in on us again, making sure the server was right next to her the entire time, and apologized saying she must have been tied up with other tables. They weren’t busy, with maybe 10 tables of people total. They had plenty of staff and the other servers were constantly around, helping all their tables, except ours was missing in action. I would only go back again to see if it was just our server or not but that’s about it.

A fabulous place to enjoy an intimate dinner or dinner with a group! The attention to detail service and the highest quality food makes Uptown Bistro a must! Whether you are visiting or are lucky enough to live here Uptown Bistro should be a definite for dinner! Their breakfast is out of this world too!!! Uptown Bistro is The Best at the Beach in my book!!

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary here today and we got Jurgen B as our waiter, He’s fantastic and very nice and friendly, He makes sure that we felt very comfy and welcome. He’s not hesitant to tell you stories and makes you laugh., and the food oh my goodness… all we ordered are so scrumptious. I highly recommend this place, and if next time I have to go back in Myrtle Beach I will definitely come back here! All in all 5 stars! Highly recommended..🥰

The ambience at the restaurant was great. There were some good things and bad things about the food and drinks. We ordered an $18 jumbo shrimp cocktail and the shrimp or miniature. I ordered a lemon drop martini and asked for Tito‘s instead of the way it came on the menu. It tasted like there was no alcohol in it. I just asked the server to remake the drink the way the menu had suggested, but it was nothing like any lemon drop martini I’ve had before and not in a good way. However, I don’t like complaining so I didn’t wanna say anything again. The wedge salads were absolutely delicious, but the timing of things with the kitchen was very off. We barely started our salads when our meals came out. The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious.but two of us ordered margarita flatbreads, and they were most certainly not flatbreads. It was more like focaccia bread. We mentioned that and they didn’t really offer to bring anything else or take it off the bill. Our server seemed annoyed with the complaints, and I understand because I hate complaining, but they were genuine complaints and not nitpicky things. We said nothing about the shrimp cocktail even though that could have been a complaint as well.

First time visiting the restaurant. The atmosphere & ambiance are incredible, and the service was superb. The food was delicious along with the cocktails. Our waitress, Sara was very accommodating to every request and delightful. The business is beautiful, and we will definitely return for a breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We met the owner, who showed us the most wonderful hospitality. We give the restaurant five stars and is a must for a dinner date or for a family dinner.

Happy Father’s Day dinner at Uptown Bistro (@uptownbistromb ) with my Annie (@anniessweetstuff ). Uptown Bistro had a fixed price Father’s Day menu ( you could still get regular menu if preferred), for $69.00 a four course meal . We of course started with a chocolate martini for Annie and I enjoyed a margarita, both mixed well and very tasty and refreshing. Sarah our server then brought us out some soft bread to begin our meal. I had the calamari for and app while Annie went for the truffle fries (truth be told I ate them all…. Well it is Father’s Day! ). The calamari with the lightest but crispiest coating was delicious, absolutely my favorite calamari anywhere , Annie’s fries or I should say my fries were delicious with a dusting of Parmesan and a truffle oil just took them to another level. A house salad for Annie and a Caesar salad for me was next , both presented nicely and fresh . Annie decided on the 8oz center cut filet with a baked potato and added a side of Brussel sprouts , I was yearning the 14oz Prime beef rib eye along with a loaded baked potato! Both meats cooked to order ( although Annie’s a touch under ) perfectly seasoned and oh so tender! Annie’s potato was nicely baked with plenty of butter , my loaded full of bacon and cheese and so good! Of course Annie loved her sprouts , mostly she ordered them to take home which Sarah boxed everything up for Annie and actually put on gloves while doing it (such a nice touch , both classy and safe). We finished our meals with a cheese cake for Annie and a very rich chocolate cake for me , since it was Father’s Day I could not resist and glad I didn’t ! Uptown Bistro has quickly become one of my absolutely favorite go to spots , with an upscale feel but a welcoming friendly environment always. The manager goes to every table and talks with all and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Live music is usually the background entertainment while dining and it is very enjoyable. What a lovely dinner with my husband! The restaurant is elegantly light and spacious. The staff are welcoming, gracious and highly professional. The menu offers entrees for every taste. We enjoyed everything we ordered (roasted beet salad, ribeye, salmon, truffle fries, etc). Uptown Bistro has quickly become a favorite of ours.

The food was cold and picked over. Very disappointed with the variety of food for a Father's Day brunch. The Chef and the server was very professional. They tried their best to make it right. We did get our meals on the house. I was pretty disappointed because wanted my husband to have nice experience. I thought there would be some type of music. Not a good experience for our first time. However I give high praises for the Chef who took the time to come out and explain the ssituation!! We still gave the server a tip.

Went for the Farhers Day Brunch that was advertised until 3pm. Made a reservation for 2pm which was the earliest available. They had a brunch buffet advertised with all kinds of stuff that sounded real good. We went to get our plates and everything was cold, dried up or empty. When we said something to our waitress she looked at us and asked if we're sure. Yeah, I think I know the difference between hot and cold food, fresh food and food that's been sitting for hours. Then she tell us that she can heat it up. Ok, it's already dried up and you want to put it in the microwave. I asked well are they going to put fresh food out? Probably not it ends at 3. ( in the mean time 2 more tables have come in) Long story short no fresh food was made, we didn't eat anything, and we won't even think about giving them a second chance. I would highly suggest you look somewhere else to eat, because that food was definitely timed out on the buffet so who knows what the kitchen looks like.
