Fantastic meal again at Upstairs at Pier 38! We had friends in from out of town and decided to dine at Upstairs because of our other great experiences with everything, from service to food to ambience. The seafood is as fresh as it gets and the rest of the menu sings with options from classics to new ways to enjoy your favorite meals. Just a great place to be a little upscale but nowhere near stuffy!

Celebrated my father’s bday here. Our server Tony was fantastic! Very polite, informative and attentive. Food was great! My father is hard to please yet he thoroughly enjoyed his ribeye. We all enjoyed our food! I/we will return.

The service started off great but after the appetizers, services was terrible. Half of the party was served their dinners while the other half waited about five minutes for their dinners. The meals were so cold, that the garlic butter on the steak did not even melt. Tried to spread the butter on the steak but it just looked like peanut butter on bread. Drinks, coffee, and water were not refilled. Personally, I think the layout & interior of the restaurant was welcoming but the poor service was an overwhelming negative.

Everything was great! The personal touch to celebrate my husband’s birthday and belated Father’s Day was perfect. The waiter and everyone else was great!
