    Service all the way around was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Food was, for the most part very good. The steak we ordered was one one level more than we asked for. They were nice enough to split soups in to two portions and were very apply to provide us extra plates to share. The menu had a few items that were quite inventive and tasted good. We’ll definitely be back again. To a bit of a hidden gem because it’s away from Waikiki and the other congregations of restaurants. The space was very open and beautiful.

    Brussel sprouts were salty. The steak, sea bass and salmon dishes were very good. Service was excellent and restaurant felt very comfortable. We all enjoyed.

    Our food was prepared well with wonderfully sized, beautifully set portions. There was a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. The serving of our courses was timed well/perfect and our entire meal delicious. The ambiance was great and Anthony, our server was extremely courteous, quick to accommodate, patient and helpful. Ample parking, clean amenities and a friendly staff all made for a relaxing, enjoyable, wedding anniversary dinner.

    Amazing food and service. The Spanish octopus was outstanding. Special was Panko crusted opah fish. We also had the beet and pear salad, which was big enough to share. The crust on the salmon the best I have ever had. Service was top notch. We recommend it 100%.

    We went to “Upstairs” right after they opened at 5 pm. Our server, not sure if he ever introduced himself, was very good. Knowledgeable about the menu items, gave us some recommendations based on his experiences at this restaurant, and even offered me a cup of green tea “on the house”. He recommended a guava crème brûlée (not on the menu) and it was DELISH! We are definitely going back!

    Fantastic meal again at Upstairs at Pier 38! We had friends in from out of town and decided to dine at Upstairs because of our other great experiences with everything, from service to food to ambience. The seafood is as fresh as it gets and the rest of the menu sings with options from classics to new ways to enjoy your favorite meals. Just a great place to be a little upscale but nowhere near stuffy!

    This is the best restaurant in town! I originally didn’t want to do a survey because I selfishly wanted to keep this place a secret but it wouldn’t be fair for the workers who work here. Matt is our man that takes care of us and he exceeds our expectations every time we come here. His service is outstanding! The food is outstanding! On a scale of 1 to 10, this restaurant is a 1,000!!!
