Up Scale is nestled on the bustling South Alamo street and is Carpenter Carpenter’s fine dining establishment. Our chef de cuisine, Rob Arambula, has worked at notable restaurants in Los Angeles and Spain. His curated menu boasts Italian favorites like wagyu bolognese, caviar al limon pasta, and savory lamb chops. In addition to our varied wine and beer menu, we also offer a line-up of seasonal and signature cocktails all made with the freshest ingredients.

Upscale was delicious. Our first experience here and we were impressed. Chelsea was very friendly and had great suggestions. We had a steak, oysters, lobster linguine and sides. All were well seasoned and cooked well. Cocktails were great as well. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely memorable experience that I didn’t expect in San Antonio. Chic stylish decor. All of the details were truly noticed. Everything we ate was beyond words wonderful!!! Awesome service

We waited , and waited for our reserved table at least 10 minutes until the hostess greeted us at the empty restaurant. Negative’s - food was not flavorful, wait time for the reservation Positive’s - the bartender who greeted us and thanked us. Our server was very friendly Thank you bartender and server for being professional.

The food and the atmosphere were great. I was disappointed to get a ticket for $35 due to their valet illegally parking my car.
