In 1943, on the corner of Ohio and Wabash in downtown Chicago, Uno Founders, Ike Sewell and Ric Riccardo, created the original and legendary Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. They combined authentic Italian recipes with the finest meats, spices, vegetables and cheeses and baked them in a unique and delicious deep dish crust, creating a hearty pizza like no other.
Today, Uno’s Deep Dish Pizza is still made as it was then, with dough made fresh daily, hand stretched and covered with meats, hand-cut vegetables and freshly shredded mozzarella cheese. The only good pizza was pepperoni. The quality has went down for sure. The waiter complaineabout his other table. The pizza came out cold and the excuse was it was not pepperoni so they don't know how to send it out hot.
It was worse during pick up only. Glad I didn't get all the way home to realize my pizza was $60 worth of crap.
I love deep dish. I suggest you and your family getting together and try a recipe at home.

They did not get our reservation. We used the app that was in the e-mail notice. We did get seated but silverware was a long time coming. Our dinners arrived before the silverware. The food was great and waitress very nice. Just some bumps in reopening. We will go back again.
