About
Never going back. They need to learn to COMMUNICATE! On there IG it has brunch from 12-4. I made a reservation for 2:30. They called and confirmed my reservation. I was running late so I called to make sure that I would still be good to eat & they said ok cool! So I get there at 2:40. The host seats us for the Waitress to come out and tell me the kitchen is closed ???! Y’all need to stop false advertising and put the correct info out there . I won’t be going back
The atmosphere looked amazing, the food was excellent, and the entertainment is great.....However, the drinks were watered down, and the service was horrible!!!
Great experience
We came during the Valentine's Day 5 course special and it was a well thought menu. Great service and ambiance.
Apparently on Sundays the restaurant is only open until 3pm yet I was able to still make a reservation for 3p. I even had a hostess call me the day before to confirm my 3pm reservation. When we arrived at 250p you could visible tell the staff was annoyed. That’s when I learned about the 3 pm closing. Why were we still allot to make the reservation if that’s the same time the restaurant closed? And furthermore, why would they call me the day before to confirm and not mention it? We did not feel welcomed and the service was terrible and slow. All we ended up getting was a water, glass of Coca Cola and one order of the grilled oysters (which the waiter made very clear and quite rudely) that’s all we could get. We left by 345p. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food was horrible, service was great, hard waffle and very bland and chicken
It is obvious that the owner and staff are new. I dined there a year ago and the food was fantastic. The staff was engaging and the place was energetic.
Well, my experience there tonight was far from any of that. The menu looked the same but the food was not as good. They host was not sure if they were participating in DC restaurant week. Well they were not! Our appetizer was removed before asking if we were finished. Just a weird overall energy tonight. I won’t be going back.
Management changed and didn’t care for the new menu. Wouldn’t recommend and don’t plan on patronizing the establishment again.
Food excellent. Need to update online food choices, outdated. Service was way to long. Nobody new how to sell a dish to the customer.
The ambiance was pretty chill the food was a lot better once before must be a new chef. The chicken was dry I didn’t eat it all or take it to go but the Brussels was great.
This place is way too expensive for what they are offering. Better options in a less than 5 minute walk away.
There was lag in service after seated. The wings are not jerk, don’t let them fool you. The Mac and cheese was on the salty side and overpriced.
Adeera, the bartender, and our server Segourney were GREAT!! We had fresh oysters, salmon belly, and their Thai wings!! SO good!! They were very friendly and helpful, food was fresh and tasty. The wings were a pretty decent size and sooo good that we got some to go. Unbeknownst to us, it was happy hour so great deal!!
I had a reservation for 6 at 6:45p on 12/18/19. We arrive and find out that they were closing due to an issue with the kitchen. Things happen, but they need to notify people when they do especially those that have a reservation. There was someone who drove down from Baltimore in my group. Very disappointing with how this situation was handled.
Great vibes. Good food.
The food is definitely not the same from when it first opened! You can tell they have a new owner, chef or whatever! Definitely a rip off
This place had great food, but really really slow service. We got our appetizer before our drinks. The male chef had his arm around our female waitress while she was taking our order, which made us all uncomfortable. The restaurant itself was HOT. At least around 80 degrees. So we all finished our meals quickly so we could leave.
Work group had a great time. Delicious food and loved Monday nite jazz with Brian Lenair
Not good. Host/hostess was non-existent and food was just okay.
This was my second time visiting this establishment. Service was horrendous the first time we visited. However, the food was impeccable. This time, the service was terrible and the food was lackluster.
I thought the oysters were overpriced with same price on the menu as on happy hour. The service was bad as we were the first table there but they seemed to forget that.
My second time going however it was under new management and a new owner. The lobster Mac and cheese for the appetizer was amazing along with the Asian wings. The entrees we ordered was the salmon, which was amazing however the portion was extremely small for my taste. The hostess was everywhere but we ended up getting seated under 10 minutes and it wasn’t packed. The venue is still beautiful as it was when it first opened. Some of the good foods weren’t listed when I first went, they need to bring some of those items back.
The Restaurant had just changed their menu which was NONE of the items listed when I made the Reservation. This was a disappointment to my out of town visitors who were looking forward to the selections posted. It would have been nice if they have posted that a new menu selection was now available.
We had the Fried Oysters, Ipswich Clam Strips and the Oysters Rockefeller as appetizers. All were good but one person felt the Oysters Rockefeller were a bit to dry and not flavorful.
The CrowdPleaser was the Lamb Shank Entree with Stewed Vegetables and Beans. The lamb was tender and flavorful. The beans were a bit underdone but tasty.
Changed their menu and it’s limited with an up charge. Service was worst than before
My group had a celebratory dinner on Saturday, November 2nd. The host and wait staff were very nice, informative and pleasant to deal with. The food however was not what we expected. A couple of us ordered the seafood soup to start, which was bland, very tasteless...we asked for salt and old bay to bring some flavor to the dish, however we still didn’t like it. It was very lose and only included oysters and none of the other seafoods listed. The Asian wings we ordered as another appetizer were very good, flavored well and juicy. 5 of the 6 of us ordered the seafood alfredo and we all hated it. This dish was also flavorless and didn’t include all the seafood listed or broccoli, we had to add old bay and pepper to this dish as well and it still didn’t work. Only dish that was enjoyed that evening was my sisters salmon dinner, she said it was very good. I was truly disappointed with my experience here and will probably not return.
They changed the food menu and it’s horrible now. I hope they change the menu back soon or they probably will start losing a lot of customers.
It was my first time there visiting from out of town. The brunch was exceptional & we had a great waitress by the name of Kai. She provided spectacular customer service as well as John. I look forward to returning on my next trip. The food was delicious & the mimosas kept coming. Happy & satisfied customer.
Made a reservation for lunch on open table. Get there and they were not open for lunch! Complete waist of my time!!
The ambiance was great. Sorry to say the food was less then desirable. I ordered the branzino which came out undercooked. The service was great in rectifying the situation as they offered another meal. I declined & they took it off the bill. We went for a Halloween party but we were disappointed that they did not have any oysters at an Oyster lounge. The hostess, waitress, bartender & manager were all polite and accommodating so I will return again and allow them to redeem themselves.
Table service was unfortunately pretty terrible. Server started out a bit rude, but softened as the meal progressed. It was pretty clear there was a lack in service training, which is inexcusable for a restaurant at their price-point. The food, on the other hand, saved the entire experience. Would go back for the food for sure, but would likely try the bar as opposed to table seating.
Met with some great friends. The food was good, although the raw oysters were rather small considering it's location to MD.
The food and customer service was outstanding. I ordered the Brussel sprouts and crab fried rice. It was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that loves seafood and having a good time.
Service was terrible. They were out of several items from beer brands to entrees. The crab cakes were great. The deep fried lobster was overcooked. Other food items were very good.
Lively ambiance and delicious food! In a new and fun neighborhood.
Poor service
This was my second visit. I would have to say that happy hour is your best bet. Their lunch prices are more dinner prices. I had the calamari it was rubbery and my hamburger was in desperate need of salt and pepper!! Stick to happy hour at the bar
The place was closed despite taking online reservations and showing online that it was open. There was no indication that it was closed for a special event. I am very disappointed.
My boyfriend and I went this past Saturday and had an amazing experience. We were greeted super warmly when we arrived. When we got upstairs to our table we enjoyed the ambiance which included gorgeous art and an excellent playlist that we found ourselves grooving to all night. Our server Taylor was both friendly and knowledgeable. She was also very attentive. We ordered the fried oysters and peel and eat shrimp for appetizers. The oysters were so good, I wanted to lick the shells and we were happy that the shrimp was already peeled. For dinner, we had the pesto rock shrimp pasta and the sea bass. Both entrees were very flavorful. I would order both again. After dinner we took our drinks out onto the rooftop to enjoy the rest of the evening. I definitely recommend this spot!
Great restaurant and even better service! Really look forward to coming again
Great atmosphere! I had the pasta with crawfish and shrimp. The food was very bland.
