Oozing sincerity and authenticity, we had a fun evening trying a very wide range of foods, and drinks. Friendly staff, interesting food, and a surprisingly comfortable neighborhood setting make this next up on our evenings out.
Tried something new and it was awesome
Sadly restaurant was very disappointing. Sat outside. Bad smell of sulfur, patio seating facing mostly deserted strip mall. Service very slow, not from the lack of trying. Servers seemed very overwhelmed and overworked. Food was just not good. Except the Hummus eggplant. The seafood pillows came with what appeared to be the coquettes but much soggier. With in an hour of being home after meal I was sick to my stomach. Not sure how long this place will last.
Food was fair at best. Waiter was good, but he was the only one working the dining room, so he was not as attentive as you would expect.
Wonderful cocktails and tapas made for great date night!
I wish I had an option to give ZERO stars. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. We went there a month ago, and had a great experience (but there were only a few other patrons there). This time, the place was full (there are probably less than 10 tables inside, and as many outside). The bartender yelled at the patron in front of us as we were waiting to be seated "PUT ON YOUR MASK!!!". She had it with her, but had just forgotten to put it on. Since the place is so small, everyone heard him and looked at her. Ridiculous. My husband almost said something to him about his yelling at her, but didn't. She and her friends ended up walking out because of the bartenders attitude, and frankly we should have as well.
We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. EVERY single server in the place walked past us for 10 minutes before we flagged down the hostess to order a drink. She was kind and apologetic (she should be running the place). She sent over our "server". Our two friends who were with us had no luck getting the drinks they wanted. The beer and sangria were no longer available. They opted for something else. 20 minutes later, the drinks arrived (brought by the hostess)
At that point, we had to flag our server down again to order an appetizer (charcuterie). Multiple options on the menu, but only a handful of options available. That took 30 minutes to arrive. Not sure if they had to milk the cows for the cheese.
While waiting on our charcuterie, we ordered our main meals. The four of us ordered at the same time. About 30 minutes later, 3 of the meals arrived. I had to wait another 15 minutes to receive my raw sliders (ordered med-rare). Couldn't eat the buns. They were too bloody. I couldn't alert our server, though, because he was again MIA. At that point I just wanted the whole experience to be over.
We won't go back. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE I like. Ever.
We really enjoyed our dinner. I’d say somewhere between 4 and 5 stars. There are two reasons I wouldn’t give five stars. The first is that the fryer smell permeated the restaurant and lingered on my hair and clothes. I wouldn’t expect this from a restaurant with a $24 cheese plate. The second is that they were short staffed - this is not the fault of the servers and they set good expectations for us about the delay (which was much appreciated) but service was super slow. Both of those things aside, the food was delicious and we will go back for another try.
Terrible service. Waited 45 minutes just to get our drinks after asking the waitress three times to check on them.
Honestly the food was pretty good and I would come back for a few of the items. The service however was a nightmare. We weren’t even approached by anyone for 10 min and another couple left due to being neglected. There seemed to be 1 waiter assisted by the hostess and bartender. Each of them took good orders from us and didn’t know what the other did. I think with a bit more organization it could be a really nice place to go but as of right now unless you have a lot of time to wait It’s not the ideal dinner.
For a tapas bar, the tapas were tasting size. I could have not possible shared the 2 filet mignon rolls with someone else as they were tiny and the Mac n cheese was a kids size portion for 1. The filet rolls that were made like sliders were unremarkable. I had to go eat at Chika-fil-a after because I was so hungry after already spending $30. Also, the tables still seemed too close together. It was better when it was taste. I won’t be going back.
Really good variety for vegetarians and meat eaters. A more American/seafood take on Tapas. I loved the vegetable tempura and my partner loved the crabcakes!
Fantastic food and exceptional service. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food! It was all freshly prepared and individually cooked, everything fresh and to order. Great staff, very attentive and welcoming.
Food was overall underwhelming. However, the seafood pillows and the chicken lollipop were very good.
The wine proposed by the server was excellent.
Excellent and nice different choices
Food was great, especially the Curry chicken dish. Wine selection was perfect, with a few varieties you don't commonly see on other menus. Service was excellent. Awesome date night spot.
The only negative would be that ventilation for the kitchen wasn't the best. Grease from the fryer could be smelled well into the dining area. Still a 5/5 experience, with that being the only con.
Cool spot, hidden gem. Food and wine menus are smart and varied without being overwhelming.
Excellent food and different with superb service
Excellent food, wine, and service! Only negatives are the lack of good a/c (a big negative in Raleigh) and pretty uncomfortable chairs. But still a fantastic experience. Because of the amazing food. Try the crab cakes!
Food was very good. Wine was 1/2 off if you spend $50 dollars
Great food and drink. Super fresh!
Very enjoyable evening out. Not going to be the cheapest dinner you have but the wine, food and especially the staff make it a very fun evening out. Will be back.
The ambiance of the restaurant was poor. Very little decor or personal touches for being so far outside of the city. Understaffed. Tapas were decent size for tapas, but overpriced for amount of food.
First time to visit this restaurant. Everything was wonderful, especially the food. Start with the chacuterie board - wonderful appetiser. I wish they had had some desserts, maybe later. We will definitely be back.
Glad we found this place! Great food, drinks and service! We will be back
It was wonderful for a date night! We were actually the only customers and it was awesome. Food and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend!
This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was outstanding along with the atmosphere. The food was unique and wonderful. We had shrimp tacos, beef wellington, lobster mac, ham and chicken sliders and shrimp and grits.
The meal we had at Uninhibited was phenomenal. We started with the fresh baked baguette and cocktails which were all amazing. We then had the seafood mac and cheese, tuna tacos, beef Wellington, and quesadilla. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the quaint neighborhood views. Everything was excellent food. We’ll definitely be back!
First time dining, but will not be the last. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes that we ordered. The duck salami and the wild boar salami on the charcuterie were particularly tasty. Make sure to get the baguette as well. Very friendly staff and helpful with wine selection.
Great experience! Food, drinks and service were all spot on. Very fresh and creative. Service team went way above and beyond. I would highly recommend.
Love the Tapas concept...flavors were vibrant and quality invited us to share more and more and...
The decor was almost non-existent, though. Service was fine, but COVID kept the crowd away, I guess. We were early, too.Walls need art.
Went for a celebration with a friend. Found out Mondays are the perfect day to go. Quick seating. Great food. We had 5 tapas and struggled to pick the best. But get the crab cakes and Maui Romesco.
Drinks were superb. Go! I’ll definitely go back.
Beautiful night and half priced wined doesn't hurt lol. The food was truly outstanding!
Several things didn't go right. Starting with a cheese plate meant for another table got to ours. This was followed by dish that was not prepared with sauce on the side as asked. At the end, we had to pay 18% gratuity because that's the arrangement Groupon makes with the restaurant? No wonder they didn't try!
Very creative menu- this place is like a hidden gem in Raleigh. I enjoyed the cocktails and dessert wines. Great service and worth visiting if one is interested in exploring new types of food.
Wonderful. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend the steak and eggs !!
We love this restaurant. The food and cocktails are always good.
First time trying. Great food in a little hideaway. Service was a little slow but the phenomenal dishes made for the slow service. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend
love the concept of tapas - it is nice to share a dish - if there are only 2 of you I would not get the cheese & meat tray because you won't be hungry for the small plates - there is so much to choose from - I got both & loved everything just wanted to try more small plates.
Disappointed on our second visit. Disorganized, food quality subpar to our first impressive visit. Not likely to return.
