Simply put - Hands down the absolute Best hidden gem in Raleigh! I've been here at least a dozen times and it has never been short of spectacular! Always great service and the taste and presentation each dish offers tantalizes both your eyes and tastebuds. And I'll be going back Thursday 😊
Slow service, food was ok but overpriced. Wouldn’t come back.
Eric amazing wine list amazing tapas amazing
The food selection and quality here is out of this world. I love seeing things on the menu you don’t see everywhere else. It’s fantastic.
Really enjoyed it before we got there my daughter was not convinced but after she is a convert to tapas
Good ambiance and quiet location but the food was not amazing. Worth it for the wine and outdoor patio.
One of the worst services I have ever seen in a restaurant
I had heard a lot about this place pre-covid so not sure if our experience was impacted by that as we were not impressed. We had to ask the server to wipe down the table since loaded with dust.
No one waited on us. After 30 minutes, we left. I understand they’re understaffed, but no one said a word to us - even as we were walking out the door.
Great food and service, but the place itself doesn’t reflect the quality of food; it can use a bit of interior redesign to improve the overall experience. The drink flavor was very good, yet the presentation can be improved. The place seemed dusty.
Excellent food, the shrimp and grits were amazing. My wife is gluten free and she said it was the best gluten free thing she had eaten in a long, long time. This was our second trip to the Uninhibited Tapas and we will def be back.
We've been here before but most of the faces look new and they were severly understaffed. We didn't get all the food we ordered, but they had no problem removing things from our bill. Fortunately we were not in any hurry. Other tables that were in a hurry decided to leave.
Excellent place to go for some unique amazing food! Quaint and comfortable atmosphere very quiet. Would enjoy some background music next time but otherwise it was excellent. The owner/manager was amazing to work with very attentive and informative. The food was fabulous! Highly recommend the barbecue tacos and the pumpkin pillows! Insanely amazing! Will definitely return!!
Not much to tell..... after 45 minutes no one ever came to take our order, so we left.
Bad food. Took over an hour and a half before they brought out the charcuterie board we ordered, other food never made it, the stuff that did was not good. They then gave the table next to us 20% because it was an off night with bad experiences for everyone, we heard it but then offered us 10% off the next visit. Keep it consistent and be aware of your surroundings. At least we stayed and didn’t walk out like multiple other tables that night. To top it off our hostess tells us she had a 102 fever that morning but had to come in because they are short staffed. Not the best information after a meal and the first day they reopen restaurants after a pandemic. Never again
Although our server was on thier first night, and there was a small hiccup with our bill, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing and any speed bumps were quickly and professionally handled. Highly Reccommend.
Superb! The food was great and atmosphere was awesome. Will definitely go again.
Came here with a Groupon, but ended up spending an extra $100. There is no parking available, you need to park across the street. The ambiance of the outside of the restaurant is terrible. It looks like a worn out, worn down place. The inside was okay enough. The options for Tapas were plenty, however the ones that we tried seemed to lack in flavor. in addition, the food was lukewarm temperature. The cocktail drinks were very tasty and well made. There was one bartender who was also the waiter for the entire place, that makes for not the best service when you have to make drinks along with serve food and take care of customer needs. Nice concept, but I don't think we'll be back.
Enjoyed an evening sharing food with my two daughters. Food was very good and the team there could not have been nicer. Nice job!
There was really nothing on the Tapas menu we would not have tried. All the food and drinks were great and the staff is very friendly! Highly recommend as I know we'll go back again.
A neighborhood gem that is much appreciated! The service and food are excellent. The tapas plates are unique, local, and tasty! My parents and I had a wonderful dinner. I personally would not bring my 17 teenage son here though- quantity and not quality is what matters with this one. It would be a car payment to feed him here! However, for a lovely night with fabulous wine and tapas- it is perfect!
Great staff/service. Chef is very accommodating to special requests. GREAT TAPAS!
It was great food. Had an awesome time
Great dinner with friends. Had no idea this little gem existed. Great folks and even better food. Great parking areas, off the beaten path well worth it. We will definitely be going back!!!
I already want to go back for more. The food is mouthwatering, the cocktails are very well done. We came for Valentine's day and will definitely be back.
Cool neighborhood tapas bar. Food was okay, fried items seemed like they were dropped in old grease. Flavor and texture profiles were just okay for my wife and I. Charcuterie board was tasty.Your experience may differ. Service was great!
I would highly recommend for great food and excellent service.
We love this place! Great hospitality and delicious food!
We dine out quite a bit, and having been a waiter myself in the past I try to be as forgiving as possible. However, I was beyond disappointed at our recent experience at Uninhibited.
We had an early reservation in order to avoid the larger crowds that come at peak dinner hours. Unfortunately this did not matter for several reasons. First, the tables are definitely not spaced 6 feet apart. I understand this is difficult with a smaller space, but this should be a nonstarter given we are in the middle of a pandemic. Second, with the slow service, it did not even matter we came early as it was well into peak dinner time with every table full and others waiting to be seated at the front by the time we left. This restaurant should definitely be reviewed by local inspectors for violating the state mandate (definitely >50% capacity).
Regarding the service, there was a 4 course fixed menu for restaurant week. Normally this improves efficiency given everyone at the restaurant is eating the same thing. Unfortunately, this did not seem to matter. Even though we were one of the first tables seated, it took 30 minutes for us to be served our drinks. The drink was at least well mixed and tasted decent.
It took approximately an hour for the first course to come out. It was a hummus that was runny and overly garlic. An hour for watered down hummus was underwhelming to say the least. The remaining three courses weren't bad, per se, but all were somewhat bland and lacked any type of fit and finish you would expect and typically see at a tapas restaurant. There was only one cook on duty and this person was clearly in over their head.
All in all, it took over 2 hours to get a sub-par meal in an overly crowded restaurant and keeping our fingers crossed we don't get COVID. Please please please space your tables out and either take less reservations and/or hire better help. We will not be going back to this establishment ever.
The food was good, some items were unexpected, not something you find on other menus and that was great. I was disappointed, from where I sat, I could see the owner or manager was making his rounds, went to the table right behind us but he didn’t come over to us. Made me wonder.. I will likely try them again, the food was good . If there is a repeat, then I well, it speaks for itself.
First time but wont be our last. It was busy and a few items already sold out. I love being able to try a variety of food.
We discovered a few months ago. The food is good. Chef does a great job. The family likes having small plates to try new things. Recommend for anyone who is tired of the same old same old
Came and sat outside, they had plenty of heaters for the amount of outdoor seating. Not too crowded so lots of space for us to sit and eat. Sitting inside would have had better ambiance but we decided outside for our own safety reasons.
We had a great meal thanks so much. We would go again
Every tapas ordered was exceptional! The flavors were original and extremely interesting. This is a new go to place for me!
Service was great! It was quiet and the atmosphere was very nice for our date night. Highly recommended.
Owner sat at end of bar and didn't even speak to us. We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Monday night. Thankfully the bartender was very friendly.
Great experience! Highly recommended. Excellent food and service.
I love the heaters they have outside, especially this time of year. The food is always excellent, and the wine choices are phenominal.
