Uncommon Ground did an amazing job of ensuring a safe dining experience during Covid. They have a large outdoor seating area, we were well distanced from other tables, and all staff wore masks (we did as well except when eating). I was very impressed. Overall, we had a great experience.

Excellent spot for vegans and non vegans alike, perfect intimate atmosphere especially at night with the string lights. Live music was icing on the cake, super peaceful and relaxing place to eat. Can’t wait to come back!

It was our first time dining out with COVID. We were very happy with the steps and practices that the restaurant went to to make the dinner a very comfortable and enjoyable. Service and servers were exceptional!

Great outdoor seating space where they are working hard to keep everyone safe. Food overall good but was disappointed with the poor plating of the fish tacos. The taste was great but the presentation was seriouly lacking. Servers were great and live music was a treat!

First outdoor dining experience in extended beer garden. Beautiful weather, attentive staff, and the always delicious Uncommon Ground food. Great!

The service is great. The outdoor space is amazing. But unfortunately the food is mediocre at best. The Quattro formaggi pizza was lacking cheese. The ceviche was some overdone shrimp with corn and a lot of chips. The burgers were on par with what you’d get at five guys. The beer selection was unexciting with only one IPA. We were still happy to have an opportunity to sit outside and eat while feeling safe as these guys take COVID seriously, but we wished the food was better.

Wonderful experience dining in their oversized parking lot - much more than 6ft between tables. Noise only marked high because the neighbors were having some kind of party with shouting (piñata?) in the backyard over the fence. All staff was masked and kindly reminded us to mask up each time they approached the table. Small price to pay for keeping our restaurant workers safe, and we had it down pat by the end of the meal. Dogs welcomed and watered!

My family and I shared a lovely meal on Father's Day. All the food was delicious--the piri piri chicken is highly recommendable. I love all the herbs growing around us and watching the beekeeper on the roof tend to the restaurant bees. Everybody was wearing masks and social distancing. We all felt safe. It was so nice to relax, be comfortable, and forget all the craziness in the outside world for a couple of hours. The service is superb.

Out door seating is spread out and spacious, host was welcoming and informative. Easy to find availability.

Small feedback:
Only some tables had umbrellas (we did not have one, and the sun started to burn after a bit).
Servers dump drink tray residue in the greenery next to the tables. Seems harmless, but that stuff adds up... I kept getting whiffs of old beer and boos- kind of like a dirty dive-bar smell.

Server was nice, but service was slow. We asked for a water refill was a beer and oj... in an 8oz glass? I finished mine so fast and our drinks took a while, so I asked for a pint of beer and a glass of oj instead. I got an 8oz glass of beer and 8oz glass of oj filled sparingly. Bibimbap was mostly rice.

I know restaurants have suffered a lot lately. I understand businesses must be looking for ways to minimize cost and maximize opportunity after having their doors closed for months... but I also understand that feedback is important to get the customer’s perspective. It just felt like there was a lot of filler with the bibimbop, and $9 for less than 8 oz of beer with some oj just didn’t feel right.

I love this place and everyone is so pleasant. Our pancakes and hashbrowns were cool and on a cold plate. The eggs were okay. The drinks, bacon, and biscuits were superb. We will be back, these are tough times.

Came here for Father’s Day brunch. Have a Ridiculous policy about wearing masks when outside and social distancing. Also food was poor. Was there a few times pre-corona virus days and food was good. Not worth the price or trouble. Very overpriced for bad food and irritating policies

Kenneth, sorry to hear that you think our mask policy is ridiculous. Our number one priority is the safety of our staff and guests and we will not apologize for doing so. You were able to take the mask off at the table we just requested you put it back on when a staff member approaches (when there is no longer the proper social distancing) or when walking through the general restaurant areas. The vast majority of our guests appreciate our policy and it will remain in place.

Celebrated Father’s Day here & had a wonderful brunch!! Food was delicious and loved all the fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden used in our meals! I also had the ‘Buzzy Bee’ latte which was so yummy and the perfect touch with the honey added! Great ambiance with live music playing in the background!

They're currently serving people in their parking lot, which is large and allows for proper spacing of tables.

Service was super slow and unfortunately, the food was only ok. The fish tacos were pretty yummy and the mashed potatoes were amazing. However, their fettuccine with crab was way over cooked and the crab tasted pretty low quality. I ended up not eating 90% of the dish.

I was there about two years ago and it was great, so will give it another shot, but this wasn't a good time.

We had outdoor dining only, due to COVID. It was great to eat out and be served once again. The patio is very spacious which still allows for plenty of tables, despite the social distancing. The staff were very nice and service was great.

We enjoyed the new expanded patio for social-distanced dining. There was plenty of room between tables and the staff was really attentive even though the tables were spread over a wide area. The beer, cocktails, and food were excellent- same as always. Glad to have Uncommon Ground back for in-person dining again!

I've been going to Uncommon Ground Edgewater for many years. I was very happy to learn that they were reopening their patio. They're abiding by the new social distancing guidelines extremely well and all the staff was great about making sure diners and themselves were safe.
Plus their brunch is absolutely excellent.

I've always enjoyed the food at Uncommon Ground. The meatloaf was delicious as ever. Given that this was my first post-lockdown dining experience, I was very pleased with the set up of the courtyard and parking lot. Good amount of distancing between the tables and thorough sanitizing of the tables as they turned over.
