Not a typical date night scene but the service there is absolutely amazing! They did an outstanding job trying to make it a romantic date night for my girlfriend birthday! I really appreciate the waiter and the head security personnel for going over an beyond their job! Will definitely come back for a lunch date

I unfortunately have to write a negative review but our experience here was bad. Our drinks were forgotten about, the table next to us was complaining about their drink, my husbands old fashioned was not good. Food wise I had the Ragu which tasted great, no complaints there, but portion size was small and left a lot to be desired. Husbands pizza was soggy and floppy. To be fair it looked like they were super understaffed but felt the whole vibe could have been better.
Don’t do it. Just go somewhere else. The place has changed names recently and is in the lobby of The Last Hotel. There is absolutely no signage and you might think you are in the wrong place even after you walk in. The waitress tried but it was hopeless. Food was eatable but that’s about it. I don’t think the place has plates because it seems like every dish comes in a bowl. Maybe the pizza is good but I didn’t see anyone in the place eating it.
When you notice that this place is the only restaurant in all of St Louis that has openings you ought to wonder why.
The place was empty so we had it all to ourselves! Cocktails were great the food was good. Our waitress was very attentive.

Made a reservation and we were seated quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is interesting and comfortable. Like many places, I think they were a bit short-staffed, though we ordered and our food was delivered in a timely manner. It was nearly impossible to a drink and when we did order a drink, the waiter forgot to put it in. We were completely finished with our meal when someone checked on us. A guy who seemed like he was a manager did check on us and was incredibly kind about the oversight.
The only other thing I would mention is that the menu is somewhat limited. Again, they may be a COVID think, but there's no website for the menu so I'm not sure we would have gone there if I had been able to see it. The food was absolutely delicious, however; it's primarily Italian. I did see another table had what looked like sandwiches arrive at their table but we were never offered a menu that had anything like that on it. I believe we'll return at some point.
Nice restaurant in the Last Hotel. There is a wide variety of seating options and the restaurant is pretty expansive across the main floor level of the Hotel. Went for brunch and the brunch purger was insanely good. The fries are like fancy McDonalds in the best way. Also other party was not disappointed with the standard egg breakfast plate. The bar seems nice as well.
This was my first and mostly likely last visit to The Last Kitchen. Let me preface this by stating I go out to eat quite a bit and give places and staff the benefit of the doubt and I tip pretty well; especially for excellent service. We (myself which we asked him to clean; and he did with hesitation. We should have left then. I must say that the mimosas were excellent but pricy. You actually could taste the champagne. The food we ordered was plain and I asked the person that brought the food out if they could bring some additional dressing for my not so Caesar salad. Never saw the person again. Waiter never came back to check on us. We stopped what looked like a manager to ask for ketchup, salt and pepper and he was not very nice at all, but was very chatty with other guests. I got up and got my own napkins from the bar. As a patron, we have many choices to choose from and maybe I went on the wrong day, but this place will not be a choice for me and I will not refer anyone there.

They’ve changed the menu from one that was unique and eclectic wi the great steaks and some terrific appetizers to a minimal faux Italian pizza/pasta joint.
Drinks are still $11 apiece but now it’s like you’re at an IMO’s but with a nicer building.
Covid has clearly taken the life out of this place as well. Very sad.

Great brunch experience! I love the decor and ambiance of the lobby bar and restaurant. I ordered the Egg plate and it tasted great! Our food arrived quickly after ordering. The staff here are all welcoming, and our server was wonderful, friendly and attentive. A big plus is that it is quiet enough to have a good conversation. Be sure to go!
Ryan took excellent care of me and recommended the perfect Cabernet Sauvignon to go with my Mushroom Rissotto. Both were sumptuous. I'll definitely be back!
Server was very calm, cool collected, despite being busy. There was another server who stepped in to help. Very personable and knowledgeable of the menu. Though they seemed short staffed, everyone jumped in to help, food was delicious, ambiance is fantastic. Highly recommend.
Average burgers (at best), over priced cocktails. Wood fired pizza was ok. The food took over a hour to come out, felt like they were understaffed. Menu pictures on open table don’t match the actual menu— biggest disappointment. First timers here, not sure we’d come back nothing really wowed us.
The host/manager was very friendly, ended up being our server, he was great. The dining area quickly got busy and seemed to need at least an extra server (only saw 1 for 8-10 tables). Music was so soft, it couldn’t be heard when the restaurant was full, lights were very bright for a dinner experience. Food was delicious and we tried multiple items, risotto was great, didn’t care for the oyster mushrooms though. Will return, although the menu is rather small, hopefully some seasonal changes or features in the future.
We went for a late birthday dinner, so the crowd level was pretty much empty. Only 1 large group left and a few individuals at the bar, so noise level was very quiet. Server was really nice, talkative, and knowledgeable of food and drinks. Food & drinks came out in a normal time frame and was delicious! We ordered the comeback burger with fries & French dip panini with fries. Would recommend both!
I took my wife here for valentine's day., which happened to be one of the coldest days of the year. We were sat in the back of the restaurant, away from the doors, because we were told it would be warmer. The entire restaurant was extremely cold. The menu was decently priced, but the quality of food was mediocre at best.

Wonderful hotel lobby bar and restaurant inside The Last Hotel. Upscale furnishings with a casual atmosphere. We visited during NYE weekend and most places were closed due to Covid - thankfully we found this gem. Great cocktails and food, capped off by Christopher, a wonderful bartender. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Menu was not the same as seen online. Service was way too slow and our server seemed unconcerned about us. Also thought it was ok to bring our salad and entree at the same time, after waiting too long. Charged bar price for a dinner Coke, $5!

When I booked the table on line I was very excited by the look of the menu but when we got there and was handed the menu options were burgers salad and pizza. Being that we were celebrating a birthday it was extremely disappointing. The food was ok but way overpriced for what it was.
Unfortunately restaurant was closed due to COVID even though it was open for reservations via open table . Very disappointing-staff was not helpful at all and quickly dismissed our suggestion to update their open table status .
They have a limited menu but the food, service, and bar were awesome.
Had a reservation, was told “sit anywhere” by what appeared to be the only staff there. The next thing we knew, we didn’t even get a glass of water until about 10m in, with no greeting, not a single word from the waiter. At which point, we got up and walked out. I don’t trust the experience was going to be redeemed at that point.
Although the menu was a bit limited (we assumed it was due to the global pandemic), we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The full service bar in the hotel lobby was quite enjoyable as well. Our bartender, Royston, took very good care of us.
Jordaryl gives the best service in town. He's very knowledgable about cocktails and food menu and he will make you the best drink ever. I will definitely be back.
The food was fantastic! Recommendations were spot on and I loved the architecture and ambiance. Only downside was that our service wasn’t great. There was only one server and she didn’t have the ability to give us much attention. Took a while to get drinks served.
