Ukiyo is a modern East Asian restaurant and late night cocktail bar in the heart of Dublin 2. Featuring a full bar and outdoor terrace, with DJs and music at the weekend it is the perfect spot for meeting a date or getting together with friends. Drinks only bookings after 10pm at weekends.

We try to keep our vegetable and fruit purchases local and seasonal. Our Black Angus beef is certified biodynamic, supplied by Trevor Harris in Kildare. All our fish supplied by Kishfish is organically farmed and our pork is from Crowe’s Farm in Tipperary.

Enjoy sushi and express bento boxes for lunch or dinner, signature cocktails, sake and late night lounge vibes.

Corporate and private parties catered in our lounge which opens late, with own door /disabled access, DJ booth and outdoor heated seating area.

    I’ve been to Ukiyo a few times and it’s always a great time. Delicious food, kind staff, and tasty cocktails. I do wish there were more vegan options however.

    Food was delicious as always. Impeccable and creative drinks. The service is quick enough, which is only fair giving the limited time we have on the table. The high seats are not the most comfortable.

    Lovely place, staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the main course Kastsu Curry arrived cold and congealed, and the prawns weren’t de-veined, which didn’t bother us but might bother others. Pork Baos and Korean Fried Chicken were lovely, shame about the curry.

    Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, quick service. The food was good. Our only hiccup was they gave us the wrong bill which was 90 euros more than ours!!

    Pros: The restaurant interior design is authentic and very nice. cons: Food Delay is horrible had to wait for more than 30 min for basic suchi plates.I ordered 3 different type of sushis plates fair quality not consistent with the price neither the restaurant l design itself ( supermarket’s suchi quality)

    We really enjoyed dinning here, the food was fantastic- we would definitely recommend and will be returning. Though the staff were not very engaged- had to wait a while to order and then wait quite a while for our bill. Overall it was good!

    I think we were just there on an off night , but the staff seemed really overwhelmed and stressed, and it took them over forty minutes to take our order. Waiters and kitchen staff both were out serving food and brought other people's food to our table three times, clearly just some communication issues there . Then it came to the food , it was pricey but for the atmosphere and kinda fancy place totally what you'd expect. Except it was bland. The Korean fried chicken came with a sweet chilli sauce on the side and no seasoning on the chicken. And my tacos I could only taste the tortilla and coriander, no spice or other flavours. It's just a shame because the atmosphere and everything was nice and i was really excited to try everything! The cocktails were very pretty and the seating and decor was great but it was just a shame the service and food were both disappointing. I hope the staff are okay and it was just a wonky evening and that they're not usually as stressed. Overall it was a nice atmosphere but just a few things were off so I won't be going back, which is a shame because I love the vibes and the ideas behind the menu items x

    At the beginning the staff were not very attentive, we had to call someone over to take an order after looking around for someone for a while. The restaurant was empty and staff were just standing around so it really should have been more prompt. Once our orders were taken they were more attentive.

    Boyfriend said it was the best food he ever had so he paid for all and the beautiful cocktails. For sure coming back for the free meal again lol. This place neverrrrr dissapoints. Get the Cauliflower Katsuuuuuu

    Had dinner on Saturday, the food was lovely and staff were great it was very reasonable and I would definitely go back. I loved the restaurant but only thing I didn’t like was the tables are way too close, that makes it’s hard to talk.

    Food was incredible. Service although very nice, was slow and because we were in the last dinner slot, we did not get the chance to order dessert.
