Uchibā, loosely "Uchi Bar" in Japanese, is Uchi's izakaya‑inspired cocktail bar and restaurant delivering a vast selection of Japanese whiskies, unique cocktails, yakitori grill items and Uchi classics. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    Everything was top-notch, excellent. Our favorite place to go to socialize and hang out and have good eats and good drinks. Our server, Jared was awesome and was very personable, kind, humble and just made our experience 100 times better. Josh, Cj, Colleen and Allie

    Saw a health code violation and had some trouble with how I was paying for the bill. While the bill also falls on me for communicating clearly, I couldn’t believe what I saw in terms of how the food was served. Luckily it wasn’t my dish, and some may overlook what happened but this is an Uchi establishment. I wouldn’t think they’d compromise food safety for convenience.

    Excelente servicio y calidad de la comida y bebidas. El mejor lugar de sushi en Austin! Pidan el omakase, no se van a arrepentir!

    I was so excited for Uchiba after hearing how amazing the sister restaurants are, but this one happened to be right across from our hotel so we went. We ordered a lot of food, sushi, hot appetizers, the Oma, dessert etc. Our server was sweet but it he service in general was very slow. We would get one dish and wait a long time between the next, the sushi was dry (except the toro) and honestly the best thing out of all of the dishes was the Brussels sprouts. If the lunch didn’t cost 300$ I would be okay with that.

    I’ve been to Uchiba 4 times. First 3 were great. Tonight the salmon nigri was extremely fishy. The A5 wagyu nigri was so tough wife couldnt chew it enough to swallow it so she spit it out. My piece was equally bad. We let the waitress know. She was great. She said the chef was going to taste the beef but after doing so said they would bring out Australian Wagyu instead which they never arrived.
