Uchibā, loosely "Uchi Bar" in Japanese, is Uchi's izakaya‑inspired cocktail bar and restaurant delivering a vast selection of Japanese whiskies, unique cocktails, yakitori grill items and Uchi classics. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

We’ve been to Uchi and Uchiko and had wonderful experiences. It’s too bad Uchiba was such a miss. The service was mediocre. Our server appeared to be quite busy and didn’t really take time to speak to us or really check in throughout the meal. The food ok, nothing that stood out. The place itself is nice, the seating comfortable but you could hear the conversations at the neighboring table. We were celebrating our anniversary and had higher expectations given our experiences at Uchi and Uchiko.

I've been to all the Uchi brands in Dallas area as well as Uchi in Austin and love the creativity of the food. The service was very slow, even a long wait for drinks. It was very busy and we had to wait about 20 min for our table (we had reservations). The Brussel sprouts were very tasty, as usual and a generous amount. My main issue with the Uchi restaurants is the very small portions at a high price but this time, the portions were more generous. My husband had the spicy karaage which he thoroughly enjoyed. It was more Korean flavor, not the usual Japanese rendition. Service was not as attentive as it should be. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

They changed the shishito peppers :( so sad they used to be SO DELICIOUS and now they are terrible!!

You never know what you're going to get with Uchiba these days. Largely depends on your server. First experience = A+ ... Second experience = D+ There are more consistent, less expensive restaurants in Austin. And TBH if you want Uchi, just go to Uchi.

We were a party of 3 with a 2 vegans, one of whom is also gluten-free celiac, and we had limited time to get to a show at ACL Live. They were so accommodating and had options for everyone. Everything was delicious but the Japanese eggplant stood out for all of us. The service and ambience were exceptional and we can’t wait to return.

We loved the happy hour deal on the 9 course tasting. It was a good value and everything was delicious. The pineapple popsicle was a delightful surprise - it was the best popsicle we had ever had!

Really enjoyed the omakase wish they explained what you were getting more before they served the dishes! The 9 bites were very filling though :)))

Everything was top-notch, excellent. Our favorite place to go to socialize and hang out and have good eats and good drinks. Our server, Jared was awesome and was very personable, kind, humble and just made our experience 100 times better. Josh, Cj, Colleen and Allie
